Our new normal is online banking, lending, asset management, and insurance, which requires rethinking what part of the business remains as storefront, what expands in the contact center, and what shifts to work-from-home. <br /><br />Financial Services are investing heavily to meet these new demands, which has helped fuel the growth of Five9 in 5 years from a $257M+ business to nearly $1 billion in ARR.  This is your opportunity to be a part of this amazing moment as a Senior Industry Marketing Manager, Financial Services on the Product Marketing team at Five9, which is the market leading Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) provider.<br /><br />Five9 is seeking a dynamic self-starter with strong interpersonal skills who relishes the opportunity to build and drive a formidable CCaaS Financial Services Marketing program.  The successful candidate would work at a tech-forward company that is respected by analysts, loved by customers, and has high employee morale.  Five9 is a fast-paced, high-energy, low-drama company that is ideal for building or developing a career using innovative marketing techniques in a supportive and collaborative organization. </p> <p>A successful Senior Financial Services Marketing Manager at Five9 would deliver the following:</p> <ul> <li>Study the Financial Services marketplace for CX in terms of segments, trends, IT priorities, product fit, partner possibilities, and competitive threats, and then identify market opportunities that meet the buyer needs.</li> <li>Design and drive go-to-market Marketing programs that uses a product marketing skill set while orchestrating competitive analysis, demand generation, events, digital marketing, PR, social, analyst relations, and partner marketing.</li> <li>Develop concise and compelling positioning using Five9’s AI, omni-channel communications, workforce engagement, and partnerships that differentiated Five9 to buyers in Financial Services.</li> <li>Stay tight with Sales through trainings, quarterly round-table meetings, ad-hoc requests to support their opportunities, and frequent communication on new content, partnerships, &amp; competitive threats.</li> <li>Work with Product Management on product gaps and road map priorities in Financial Services.</li> <li>Engage with key partners to promote CCaaS, develop co-marketing programs, and explore joint solutions to reach new markets in financial services.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Key Requirements:</strong> </p> <ul> <li>5-8+ years of enterprise cloud software industry or product marketing experience with at least 2+ years of experience in a field facing role.</li> <li>Experience marketing or selling contact center solutions into Financial Services.</li> <li>Very strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.</li> <li>Bachelor’s in business, marketing or finance.</li> <li>Outstanding written and verbal communications skills with the capacity to explain and translate complex technology concepts into simple and intuitive messages for Sales, Partners and customers.</li> <li>Strong analytical abilities, with respect to trends, industry, and target customer insights.</li> <li>Strong time management skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects.</li> <li>Great negotiation, persuasion, and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Willing to travel up to 15% to attend tradeshows, events, and customer presentations.</li> <li>Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues and cross-functional teams, and third parties.</li> <li>Ability to effectively lead cross functional teams and meetings to get alignment needed to prioritize work.</li> </ul><div><div><div><p>Work Location: This role is fully remote for candidates who reside outside the 50 mile radius of our San Ramon office.  For candidates who reside within 50 miles of our San Ramon location, this role is Hybrid and would require 3 days a week (M, W, TH) in our San Ramon office. </p> <hr /> <p></p> <p>As part of our continued commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, Five9 supports pay transparency during the entire recruitment process.  Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate including, but not limited to: skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
