If you want to make an impact on a global scale, come make a difference at Fiserv.Job TitleSenior Systems Engineer (Unisys)About your role:You will lead all Unisys ClearPath MCP OS, Network, and other major software release planning and implementations. You will also configure, plan and manage system hardware upgrades and act as a technical lead on larger projects.What youll do:<ul><li>Implementing and maintaining procedures to collect performance metrics and produce system performance and capacity reports</li><li>Perform analyses (e.g., performs technical research to assess system performance and capacity)</li><li>Manage and maintain 24x7 uptime on the mainframes including client related connectivity, application and platform issues</li><li>Research products, solutions, technologies, and apply results to create presentations and documentation</li><li>Establish and implement auditing standards and present evidence to the auditors (internal and external) for CAS, PCI, FFIEC, and SOC assessments</li><li>Identify system performance bottlenecks and recommending performance improvement solutions</li><li>Colloborate with business leaders to provide support, advice, and guidance on the correct application of products and technology solutions</li><li>Apply technical expertise to support the deployment of technology architecture and the total system solution</li></ul>Experience youll need to have: <ul><li>6+ years of experience on Unisys MCP systems</li><li>5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering in a Master Control Program (MCP) operating system environment, EMC disk subsystems, Work Flow Language (WFL), Communication Management System (COMS)</li><li>5+ years of experience with Windows, Data and Structure Definition Language (DASDL), and Open Distributed Transaction Processing (DTP)</li><li>3+ years of experience in solution architecture, including designing and implementing scalable</li><li>Bachelors degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education, military, and work experience</li></ul>Experience that would be great to have:<ul><li>COBOL experience</li><li>Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li><li>Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams and provide technical guidance</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose complex infrastructure issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions</li></ul>How youll work:<ul><li>This role requires being on-call during non-standard and/or overnight hours on a rotational basis</li><li>This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment</li></ul>#SystemsEngineer#MainframeJobs#MCP#Unisys#WFL#COMS#DASDL#LegacySystems<div></div>Salary Range$110,000.00 - $186,000.00These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York.
