This will involve developing core versions of software applications, identifying client requirements and technical specifications, interacting with engineering groups and training clients on applications.About the team:The Professional Services Team is dedicated to delivering client-centric solutions through collaboration, deep expertise, and a commitment to continuous learning. What you will be doing:<ul><li>Designing, programming, debugging and modifying software enhancements in COBOL and mainframe.</li><li>Interacting with product managers and users to define requirements and modifications.</li><li>Participating in software design meetings to determine technical requirements.</li><li>Working with internal Client Training, Client Relationship and Sales teams.</li></ul>What you will need:<ul><li>10+ years of hands-on experience with COBOL and Mainframe development.</li><li>Strong understanding of COBOL, TACL (Tandem Advanced Command Language), Guardian procedure calls.</li><li>Strong understanding Pathway, SQL/MP, Tandem Utilities.</li><li>Experience in documenting SOPs to support daily operations.</li><li>Strong Analytical and Problem-solving skills with above skill set.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.</li><li>Able to take the initiative and work independently or in a team.</li><li>Experience with end-to-end systems development life cycles and standards.</li><li>Knowledge of financial industry practices, regulations and operations.</li><li>Fluency in sequence diagrams, class models, etc.</li><li>Proficiency in solutions design and requirements definition disciplines.</li><li>A bachelors in computer engineering, computer science or other related discipline or equivalent experience.</li></ul>Added bonus if you have:<ul><li>OSS hands on experience, mainly in integration Open side frameworks with nonstop. The pay range for this full-time position is $119,560.00 - $200,840.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay.
