Virtus helps its clients manage their alternative investment portfolios, including CLO/CDOs, private equity, hedge funds, and other alternative assets.What You Will Be DoingThe Settlement Team is responsible for primary and secondary market loan settlements. We offer cutting-edge technology in the asset servicing of broadly syndicated loans. As a Securities Operations Associate, you will provide client support for loan settlements by assisting clients with customer, deal, and asset on-boarding.<ul><li>Monitor and process large volumes of loan closings for CLO deals</li><li>Update data and perform reconciliations</li><li>Communicate and resolve trade issues, escalating as necessary</li><li>Review funding memos for discrepancies prior to settlement</li><li>Communicate with internal and external parties regarding loan closings</li><li>Assist Asset Administration during quarter-end and/or high-volume periods</li></ul>What You Bring<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience</li><li>Typically, 2 or more years experience in accounting or finance</li><li>Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills</li><li>Knowledge of closing par and distressed loans</li><li>Ability to read and interpret credit agreements</li><li>Knowledge of trade fee calculations</li></ul>Added Bonus If You Have<ul><li>Experience with daily loan transactions and loan tracking systems</li><li>Understanding of broadly syndicated loans</li></ul>What We Offer YouA career at FIS is more than just a job. The pay range for this full-time position is $24.18 - $39.41 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay.
