You will be helping us define top-tier quality and procedures for a modern, tech-enabled deposition experience. In this hybrid role, you’ll combine traditional stenographic and scopist responsibilities while also acting as a trusted resource on Texas court reporting standards, advising our team on formatting, compliance, and other key nuances as we expand legal services across the state.</span></div><h3>What You Will Do:</h3><ul><li>Produce and deliver high-quality, verbatim transcripts of depositions, hearings, and legal proceedings</li><li>Use CAT software and transcription tools to scope, proofread, and finalize transcripts</li><li>Ensure all work complies with state court reporting requirements and industry best practices</li><li>Review and consult on transcript formatting, compliance questions, and procedural workflows</li><li>Collaborate with our internal operations team on quality standards and process improvements</li><li>Appear for live proceedings in a certified stenographic capacity as needed</li></ul><h3>What You Bring:</h3><ul><li><b>Current Texas Certified Shorthand Reporter (CSR) license</b> (required)</li><li>Familiarity with Texas-specific procedural rules or legal terminology</li><li>Experience with CAT software (e.g., Case CATalyst, Eclipse, etc.) and digital audio tools</li><li>Ability to self-manage multiple deadlines in a remote environment</li><li>A collaborative mindset and willingness to provide insights on transcription standards, legal formatting, and quality control</li><li>Comfort with occasional live appearance work (e.g., remote depositions or proceedings)</li><li>Experience working with legal marketplaces, agencies, or remote-first teams</li></ul><h3>Why This Role?</h3><ul><li>Remote, flexible work</li><li>Mix of stenographic, scopist, and consulting work</li><li>Help shape a modern, tech-enabled deposition experience</li><li>Potential to grow into a full-time role; To join a detail-driven, collaborative, and fast-moving team</li></ul><div><span>Filevine is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
