If youre excited to shape the future of design and collaboration, join us!</p></div><p>Were looking for a product designer who is excited to shape AI native workflows and define the future of design tools. </p> <p>In this role, youll turn ambiguity into clarity.  Alongside engineers, PMs, and researchers you’ll define how teams use AI to develop products, and help us invent new ways for people to express ideas, share work, and design together— whether theyre exploring concepts, building their ideas, or scaling design systems.</p> <p>If youre driven by impact, care about craft, and excited to shape the AI-powered tools that design teams rely on every day, wed love to hear from you.</p> <p>This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.</p> <h3><strong>What youll do at Figma:</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Lead design efforts for AI initiatives and collaborate across multiple teams to drive impact</li> <li>Identify new AI opportunities, design concepts, and build prototypes to execute on strategic goals</li> <li>Work cross-functionally with product management, engineering, design, and research peers</li> <li>Create and iterate on flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals for AI features</li> <li>Ensure quality and consistency across all AI features</li> <li>Design and ship high-quality new AI product workflows and improvements</li> </ul> <h3><strong>We’d love to hear from you if you have:</strong></h3> <ul> <li>8+ years of work experience designing UX and UI for software, with strong experience working with emerging technologies like AI or ML</li> <li>A strong eye for high-quality craft and fluency in prototyping to express and refine nuanced design decisions</li> <li>A track record of independently driving design processes from discovery through launch, balancing user needs, technical constraints, and business goals</li> <li>The ability to guide decision-making with structured thinking, clearly articulated rationale, and user-centered research</li> <li>Technical understanding to grasp complex AI technology quickly and help teams understand whats possible</li> <li>Comfort with ambiguity and designing in rapidly evolving, uncertain environments</li> <li>Strong collaboration skills to connect different teams, facilitate alignment, and build unified vision across organizations</li> </ul> <p> </p> <h3><strong>While it’s not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Experience designing UX solutions built on the latest in AI technology</li> <li>A generative spirit, and excitement about coming up with novel, simple solutions</li> <li>Experience working on evaluations (evals) for AI product ideas</li> <li>An eye for high-quality, well-crafted visual and interaction design, and a passion for UI details</li> <li>A knack for figuring out ambiguous problems and shaping them into clear goals</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions and prioritize work effectively  </li> <li>Experience mentoring junior or early career designers</li> </ul> <p>At Figma, one of our values is Grow as you go. The listed range is a guideline, and the range for this role may be modified. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, the pay range is localized according to employee work location by a factor of between 80% and 100% of range.
