Join our world-class team today and fulfill your career potential!The OpportunityThe Director of Sales Compensation will lead the Global Sales Compensation team and own the design and execution of Sales compensation strategy that supports the company’s strategic objectives and attracts and retains top sales talent.  Responsibilities include plan design and implementation, quota methodology, plan administration, compensation audits and related analytics.  The ideal candidate is a hands-on-leader who thrives in the details while simultaneously thinking strategically and uses critical thinking to find solutions that align with company objectives, operating as trusted partner to Sales, Finance and Human Resources teams.  This person must possess the desire and ability to work well in a fast-paced and complex environment where taking ownership and initiative is the foundation for success. - Hiring ManagerWhat Youll Contribute<ul><li>Develop and operate all aspects of FICO’s Sales Compensation program.  Closely partner with various departments across FICO including Sales Leaders, Sales Operations, HR, Payroll, Accounting, Finance, Legal and IT to align and support the design, implementation and administration of sales incentive plans.</li><li>Lead the compensation component of FICO’s annual planning process including the development of quotas, territories and plan structure for each plan participant as well as deployment of the assignments within Xactly and distribution of incentive plan documents.  Support the development and execution of SPIF programs.</li><li>Manage commission forecasting and payment processing.  Oversee the annual sales compensation budgeting and accrual process providing updates on a regular basis.</li><li>Administer FICO’s Sales Commissions system Xactly including continual improvements and automation enhancements.</li><li>Perform ongoing Analytics and Reporting, evaluating return on investment and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.</li><li>Conduct benchmarking, identify and assess industry best practices, analyze cost and impact analysis of alternative sales compensation design elements.</li><li>Manage efficient processes to track, research and resolve commission inquiries and disputes and provide solutions to resolve complex commission exceptions as needed.</li></ul>What We’re Seeking<ul><li>8+ years relevant experience in sales compensation, preferably within a software organization.</li><li>Bachelor’s degree required with an emphasis in Finance or Accounting preferred or relevant experience.</li><li>Exceptional interpersonal skills &amp; practices that keep stakeholders informed and included in a way that builds trust.</li><li>Strong understanding of the complexity of business on a global scale.</li><li>Demonstrated ability in managing internal compliance programs and policies.</li><li>Demonstrated experience in performing complex reporting and analysis. Strong attention to detail, analytical, mathematical, statistical, and conceptual skills; Excel expertise is required.</li><li>Experience with an incentive compensation management system.
