You Will: <ul> <li>Design &amp; build durable components for telemetry, alerting, and diagnostics (dashboards, SLO/SLA reporting, trace pipelines).</li> <li>Harden production paths: rollout/rollback strategies, safe deploy mechanics, canaries, guardrails, and incident runbooks.</li> <li>Implement load/chaos tests and capacity signals that validate event readiness before peak traffic. </li> <li>Automate routine ops with scripts/services (remediation tasks, data snapshots, feature flag flips); contribute to IaC modules when needed</li> <li>Collaborate &amp; review—participate in design/code reviews, improve documentation, and mentor earlier-career engineers. </li> <li>Participate in an on-call rotation, ensuring platform stability and providing critical support for operational incidents.</li> <li>Occasionally travel for essential offsite meetings, special events, or collaborative team sessions.</li> </ul>   Required Qualifications <ul> <li>5+ years in software/platform/SRE roles with production ownership of cloud services.</li> <li>Proficiency with observability tooling (Datadog preferred) and incident management; able to design actionable alerting patterns and reduce MTTR</li> <li>Practical experience in Azure or AWS</li> <li>Strong coding/debugging skills (preferably .NET; scripting in PowerShell/Python a plus) and habit of writing clean, maintainable software</li> <li>Highly outcome-oriented, data-driven, and capable of balancing quality with productivity.</li> <li>Strong communication skills, able to effectively collaborate across international teams.</li> <li>Positive and flexible attitude, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and embracing new initiatives.</li> </ul> Preferred Qualifications <ul> <li>Experience with event-driven and real-time systems; performance tuning and profiling under load. </li> <li>Proficiency with IaC &amp; CI/CD (Terraform/Terragrunt, Azure DevOps pipelines); automation-first mindset.</li> <li>Interest in our platform tenets: self-service, consistency over customization, and automation everywhere.</li> <li>Familiarity or previous experience within the sports betting industry or strong interest in sports.</li> <li>Experience working with cross-functional teams in fast-paced or start-up environments.</li> </ul>   Ready to build the future of sports betting? This role is eligible for the Fanatics Betting and Gaming annual bonus program and an equity award. *Salary range is listed in USD; actual salary will vary based on location. *Salary Range: $108,000 - $186,000 per year (actual salary will be determined in part by a successful candidate’s geographic location).
