If you believe in community, come join ours. </div>About this role Faire is seeking a Corporate Counsel to help shape our corporate, securities, and governance strategy as we enter our next chapter of growth.  You’ll support Board and committee operations, oversee global subsidiaries, ensure securities compliance, and counsel on a broad range of corporate matters. Working hand-in-hand with our Finance team, you’ll evolve our controls and reporting practices and coordinate cross-functional workstreams to strengthen our corporate infrastructure. Success in this role requires both the vision to craft long-term governance strategy and the agility to deliver clear, practical advice in a fast-moving environment. What you’ll do  <ul> <li>Support Board and committee operations</li> <li>Oversee the administration of Faire’s subsidiaries, ensuring timely filings and accurate corporate records</li> <li>Partner with Finance and other teams on developing internal controls, reporting, and governance processes</li> <li>Keep senior leadership and the Board informed of key corporate developments and emerging risks</li> <li>Build scalable resources and processes—playbooks, templates, and metrics—that streamline legal workflows</li> <li>Cultivate strong partnerships with Finance, HR, Risk, and other cross-functional stakeholders</li> </ul> Qualifications <ul> <li>Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction</li> <li>5+ years of relevant experience at a leading law firm or in-house legal department (experience with technology, marketplace, or fintech companies is a plus)</li> <li>Deep knowledge of corporate and securities laws, including SEC reporting requirements</li> <li>Demonstrated ownership mindset, accountability, and a passion for process efficiency</li> </ul> Salary Range San Francisco: the pay range for this role is $228,000 to $313,500 per year.  This role will also be eligible for equity and benefits. Actual base pay will be determined based on permissible factors such as transferable skills, work experience, market demands, and primary work location. The base pay range provided is subject to change and may be modified in the future.<div>Effective January 2025, Faire employees will be expected to go into the office 2 days per week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Additionally, hybrid in-office roles will have the flexibility to work remotely up to 4 weeks per year.
