<h3>Role Overview</h3><div>The Senior Data Engineer will work closely with multiple departments throughout the organization helping to support data extraction and transformation needs.  </div><h3>Your responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Understand, extract, validate, correct, and define data from multiple internal and external sources.</li><li>Collaborate with engineering by prioritizing and defining requirements for future development and testing data elements.</li><li>Develop and refine sustainable processes that help improve efficiency.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><h3>Who you are</h3><ul><li>You have the ability to accurately identify, document, and recommend solutions to business problems.</li><li>You possess the ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, to both technical and non-technical audiences.</li><li>You have experience with SQL and ability to create queries to extract data.</li><li>You have experience extracting data from an enterprise data warehouse and core operating systems.</li><li>You have experience with DBT and Fivetran (or any other similar ETL tools)</li><li>You have experience working with healthcare data</li><li>Any additional experience with the following is a plus: Amazon Redshift, Amazon Athena, Python (Pandas), PostgreSQL, Ruby on Rails<div><div><div><div><br /></div></div></div></div></li></ul><div>Note: We have technology groups centered in Minneapolis, Austin, and NYC, but we are fully remote.</div>
