You will foster a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and innovation while ensuring delivery of secure, scalable, and reliable services.    </div><div>What You’ll Do  </div><div><ul><li>Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers working on F5’s Distributed Cloud platform.  </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Partner with Product Management, Architecture, and other engineering teams to define priorities, scope projects, and deliver high-impact features.  </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Drive the design, implementation, and operation of large-scale, distributed, cloud-native services across multi-cloud and edge environments.  </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Champion engineering best practices, including CI/CD, test automation, observability, and operational excellence.  </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Ensure security, scalability, and resilience are core considerations in all deliverables.  </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Support career growth through regular feedback, coaching, and opportunities for skill development.  </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Collaborate with other leaders to improve cross-team processes and ensure smooth integration of services within the broader platform.  </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to long-term technical vision for the Distributed Cloud.    </li></ul></div><div>Required Skills:</div><div><ul><li>10+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 4+ years in a technical leadership or engineering management role.    </li><li>Hands-On Engineering Development Management experience</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Proven success delivering complex, distributed systems in production, ideally in SaaS or cloud environments.  </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Strong technical foundation in areas such as Kubernetes, microservices, networking, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).  </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Experience with Go, Python, Java, or similar languages.  </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Familiarity with observability, monitoring, and incident response in large-scale systems.  </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Ability to work cross-functionally and align technical priorities with business goals.  </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a passion for growing and empowering engineers.  </li></ul></div></div><div><div><ul><li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).  </li></ul>Preferred Skills:<div><div><ul><li>Experience in leading Cloud Native UI/UX teams with product development teams</li></ul></div></div><div><div><ul><li>Experience in building Network and Security Visibility|  </li><li>Experience in leading Cloud Native Telemetry and Device Management engineering teams</li></ul></div></div></div><div> </div></div>The Job Description is intended to be a general representation of the responsibilities and requirements of the job.
