Business/Job Title: Platform Administrator III - Oracle PIM 

 

Position Summary 

As a Business Systems Analyst III, focusing on Oracle Product Information Management (PIM), you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and scalability of critical systems and SaaS platforms. Systems under the care of a BSA III must operate effectively and reliably through scalable solutions and complex architectures that encompass modern technologies. You will work closely with technical and non-technical teams within the organization to facilitate the design and implementation of solutions, drive automation initiatives, and monitor and maintain the performance of critical systems. 

 

What You’ll Do  

  • Support and maintain technology systems to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security. 

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, solution owners and solution architects, to configure and optimize platform settings to meet business needs. This includes configuring workflows, automation, and integrations with other systems. 

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable and robust system architecture to improve services on an ongoing basis 

  • Support and maintain technology systems to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security. 

  • Build and deploy technology solutions translated from user stories and requirements. Manage the system lifecycle from implementation to shut down and decommissioning. 

  • Scale systems sustainably through mechanisms such as automation and evolve systems by fostering changes that improve velocity. Leverage automation and configuration management to streamline systems administration. 

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, including systems failures, connectivity problems, and performance bottlenecks. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable and robust system architectures. 

  • Evaluate and recommend new solutions, tools, and methodologies to enhance system efficiency, security, and productivity. 

  • Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues, generate meaningful reports, and implement preventive measures to maintain system health and uptime. 

  • Conduct performance tuning and optimization activities to maximize system efficiency and response times. 

  • Respond to and help manage incidents. Participate in RCA activities and assist with defining SLOs and SLIs for business stakeholders. 

  • Implement and enforce security best practices to protect our systems, data, and infrastructure against unauthorized access, cyber threats, and vulnerabilities. 

  • Create and maintain comprehensive knowledge bases for system documentation, including standard operating procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting guides, to support end-users ability to use the systems effectively. 

  • Participate in on-call rotation. 

  • Responsible for upholding F5’s Business Code of Ethics and for promptly reporting violations of the Code or other company policies. 

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring 

  • Demonstrate knowledge of Oracle EBS platform and connected applications. 

  • Experience turning business requirements into scalable solutions.  

  • Knowledge in at least two of the following technology systems such as cloud platforms, SaaS platforms, containerization, and orchestration. 

  • Familiarity with compliance and regulatory guidelines. 

  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices. 

  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as an integral member of an agile team. 

  • Experience with observability tooling including logging infrastructure, tracing systems, alert definitions, etc. 

  • Proficient communication, planning, problem solving, trouble shooting, and organization skills. 

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and timelines. 

 

 

Qualifications 

  • BS/BA or equivalent work experience 

  • 5+ years experience in Systems Engineering, or a similar role in a technology environment 

  • Experience programming in and administering Oracle PIM instances. 

  • Additional experience supporting Oracle Cloud and EBS modules. 

  • Additional modules of interest: RMCS, Fusion Order Management (FOM), Subscription Management Cloud (SMC), EBS Order Management, Service Contracts, Inventory, Shipping/WSH 

  • Business process experience in the Order to Cash workstream 

  • Strong proficiency in scripting and/or programming languages. 

  • Hands on experience with technology systems tools, protocols, and platforms.

The annual base pay for this position is: $106,376.00 - $159,564.00

F5 maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, geographic locations, and market conditions, as well as to reflect F5’s differing products, industries, and lines of business.
