This role will partner with Finance teams in delivering high-performing Oracle Hyperion/EPM solutions that support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. This role focuses on designing planning applications, building calculation logic, maintaining metadata, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.</div><div> </div><div><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></div><div><br /></div><div><b>Application Development &amp; Support</b></div><div>·<span>        </span>Design, develop, and maintain Hyperion Planning applications, Essbase cubes, calculation scripts, and business rules.</div><div>·<span>        </span>Gather business requirements and translate them into Oracle EPM application configurations.</div><div>·<span>        </span>Configure Oracle EPM applications based on business needs, including defining hierarchies, dimensions, and data mappings.</div><div>·<span>        </span>Build and manage metadata, hierarchies, forms, and Smart View reports for end users.</div><div>·<span>        </span>Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close and planning cycles by ensuring timely and accurate system availability.</div><div>·<span>        </span>Troubleshoot application issues and provide ongoing support to Finance and Accounting users.</div><div>·<span>        </span>Collaborate with Oracle support or other relevant teams to resolve complex system problems.</div><div>·<span>        </span>Implement fixes or workarounds to address system issues and minimize downtime.</div><div><br /></div><div><b>Integration &amp; Data Management</b></div><div>·<span>        </span>Develop and manage data integrations between Hyperion/EPM and ERP (Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Cloud ERP, or other systems).</div><div>·<span>        </span>Build and optimize ETL processes using FDMEE, ODI, or other integration tools.</div><div>·<span>        </span>Monitor and validate data loads, ensuring data accuracy and integrity across systems.</div><div>·<span>        </span>Automate recurring data processes and metadata updates with scripts and scheduling tools.</div><div><br /></div><div><b>Finance Partnership &amp; Reporting</b></div><div>·<span>        </span>Partner with Finance and FP&amp;A teams to gather requirements and translate them into Hyperion solutions.</div><div>·<span>        </span>Develop and maintain financial reporting packages (Smart View, Hyperion Financial Reporting, dashboards).</div><div>·<span>        </span>Provide training and documentation for Finance end users to maximize adoption.</div><div>·<span>        </span>Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for Hyperion/EPM Planning and Essbase within Finance projects.</div><div><br /></div><div><b>System Optimization &amp; Governance</b></div><div>·<span>        </span>Perform system tuning and optimization to improve application performance.</div><div>·<span>        </span>Support system upgrades, patches, migrations, routine system maintenance tasks and environment refreshes.</div><div>·<span>        </span>Ensure compliance with IT security, audit, and data governance standards.</div><div>·<span>        </span>Maintain detailed technical and process documentation.</div><div>·<span>        </span>Administer user access and security permissions within the Oracle EPM system.</div><div>·<span>        </span>Configure system settings, including data integrations, workflows, and automation rules.</div><div><b> </b></div><div><b>Required Skills &amp; Qualifications:</b></div><div>·<span>        </span>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field.</div><div>·<span>        </span>3+ years of experience developing and supporting Oracle Hyperion applications (Planning, Essbase, HFM, or related) &amp; Oracle EPM applications.</div><div>·<span>        </span>Strong technical expertise in Essbase cube design, calc scripts, load rules, and optimization.</div><div>·<span>        </span>Hands-on experience with Hyperion Planning (forms, business rules, Smart View, web).</div><div>·<span>        </span>Proficiency in configuring Oracle EPM applications, such as Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS) or Oracle Hyperion Planning.</div><div>·<span>        </span>Familiarity with financial reporting tools, such as Oracle Financial Reporting (FR) or Oracle Smart View.</div><div>·<span>        </span>Knowledge of financial processes (budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, reporting).</div><div>·<span>        </span>Strong SQL skills with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server).</div><div>·<span>        </span>Experience with ETL/data integration tools (FDMEE, ODI, or equivalent).</div><div>·<span>        </span>Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.</div><div>·<span>        </span>Strong communication skills to interact with both Finance and IT stakeholders.</div><div><br /></div><div><b>Preferred Qualifications:</b></div><div>·<span>        </span>Experience with Oracle EPM Cloud applications (EPBCS, FCCS, PCMCS).</div><div>·<span>        </span>Proficiency with scripting languages (VB, Python, Shell, PowerShell).</div><div>·<span>        </span>Prior involvement in Hyperion migrations, upgrades, or cloud transitions.</div><div>·<span>        </span>Certifications in Oracle Hyperion/EPM products or project management.</div><div>Extreme Networks, Inc.
