Learn more at <a href="http://experianplc.com">experianplc.com</a>.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p>Reporting to the <em>ICFR Controls Testing Senior Manager</em>, you will help develop the testing methodology for critical financial controls across the Experian Global business. You will develop controls testing plans for gaps in controls following Experian risk management processes and in collaboration with other assurance functions across the first, second and third line of defense (LOD). You will also support the Controls Testing Manager in the development of testing methodologies, risk universe and integrated reporting.</p><p><strong>What youll do:</strong></p><ul><li>Support the identification and prioritization of testing activities as part of the assurance planning process.</li><li>Collaborate with the ICFR team and other finance partners observing the relevant roles are responsibilities matrixes.</li><li>Plan and implement control tests including coordinating the review process with partners, managing the activities of control testing senior analysts.</li><li>Prepare draft reports reflecting the results of work performed and advise the business on appropriate solutions and remediation activities engaging other 2LOD and subject matter experts in agreeing actions plans.</li><li>Present results to senior management to get agreement to action.</li><li>Coordinate activities throughout the review lifecycle with senior partners</li><li>Collaborate with Data Analytics team to identify opportunities for converting manual testing into analytics-based testing and assurance activity.</li><li>Support 1LOD with issues remediation and validation of evidence before issue closure</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><p><strong>What you will bring:</strong></p><ul><li>Professional finance or accounting qualification ACA/ACCA or equivalent, including either an audit background or corporate experience, in an assurance, internal controls or risk department.</li><li>4 years+ experience in an audit and accounting firm.</li><li>Advanced Excel skills.</li><li>An understanding of IT systems and operation.</li><li>An approach that promotes collaboration and consultation.</li><li>Experience identifying main risks and driving improvements in the control environment.
