Overview As a Technical Consultant specialized in imagery and remote sensing, you will work with a broad range of customers, supporting them on design and implementation strategies using Esri technology best practices. Help foster a sense of community among industry leaders. Advise customers regarding innovative solutions using Esri technology and content to help them make better decisions. Recommend relevant strategies, architectures, and solutions and work with customers to prepare implementation and migration strategies.</li> <li>Understand our customers and know their business. Be familiar with the mission and operations of our customers including knowledge of common goals and initiatives, procurement cycles, and business processes.</li> <li>Enable our customers to be successful. Work closely with customers to identify, design, and certify key GIS workflows for the ArcGIS platform. Provide configuration guidance and best practices to customers and understand how Esris technology enables the customers stated vision.</li> <li>Develop and grow business. Collaborate with Esris practice managers and marketing and sales teams to support business development for technology and implementation patterns with new and existing customers.</li> <li>Collaborate closely with clients to understand their geospatial and remote sensing needs and provide guidance on the right Esri imagery technologies to address their business challenges.</li> <li>Design, implement, and configure imagery solutions for Esri clients ensuring the highest quality of service.</li> <li>Conduct diagnosis and performance tuning of customer existing imagery workflows and solutions.</li> </ul> Requirements <ul> <li>5+ years of experience designing, implementing, and/or administrating enterprise GIS solutions/systems that leverage the ArcGIS platform (desktop, server, and online)</li> <li>Hands-on experience working with or implementing imagery and remote sensing software including satellite imagery, aerial photography, drone captured imagery and LIDAR data management and analysis</li> <li>Proficiency in scripting using Python for geospatial analysis and management</li> <li>Deep working experience in core Esri GIS software products: ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise</li> <li>Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas, whether to other technical peers or non-technical project managers or customers</li> <li>Self-motivated, a proactive problem solver, team-oriented, and creative</li> <li>Exceptional interpersonal, written/verbal communication, multi-tasking, and presentation skills</li> <li>Bachelors degree in geography, computer science, GIS, remote sensing, or a related field</li> </ul> Recommended Qualifications <ul> <li>Masters degree in geography, computer science, business administration, GIS, remote sensing, or a related field</li> <li>Knowledge of and experience with software engineering and/or robust application development principles and practices</li> <li>Experience with ArcGIS, location-based services, geo-enabled apps, spatial analytics, or similar geospatial technology</li> <li>Experience with current technology implementation patterns including service-oriented and cloud computing architecture</li> <li>Professional experience in AI use in imagery and remote sensing</li> <li>Practical experience in Esri imagery products</li> </ul> #LI-MN1 #LI-HYBRID<div><div><div>Total Rewards Esri’s competitive total rewards strategy includes industry-leading health and welfare benefits: medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance for employees (and their families), 401(k) and profit-sharing programs, minimum accrual of 80 hours of vacation leave, twelve paid holidays throughout the calendar year, and opportunities for personal and professional growth.
