Ericsson also does not hire F-1’s working on EAD for this position.  This role can be CA remote. What you will do:<ul><li>Design and develop scalable embedded f/w, stack, and NCOS drivers to integrate multi-modem HW</li><li>Perform modem bring-up with NCOS modem drivers and verify that the modem functions properly for features and performance.</li><li>Experience in Modem Data Path with HW accelerators is a plus</li><li>Assist the team in debugging, including writing/improving test tools</li><li>Support team during critical issues with modem SW integrations</li><li>Help stabilize the S/W</li></ul> The skills you bring:<ul><li>BS/MS in computer science or equivalent qualifications</li><li>Five (5+) years of embedded Linux FW device driver and feature development experience</li><li>Solid programming skills in C/C++ with a good understanding of OS concepts</li><li>Strong understanding of ARM architecture, RTOS, and multiprocessor communication mechanisms</li><li>Strong FW debugging and analytical skills</li></ul> Bonus Points: <ul><li>Ten (10+) years of industry experience in architecting and implementing BSP/Device Driver, including debugging experience in multiple driver areas </li><li>Three (3+) years of experience in bringing up host modem drivers, implementing and optimizing the Modem communication platform software and SDK. Actual bonus payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit’s objectives, individual performance, and the individual bonus target. New employees are provided a minimum of 15 days of accrued vacation, up to 3 personal days per year, 11 annual holidays, 8 hours of volunteer time, and 80 hours of sick time annually. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee’s start date.
