Radio Products Canada within Product Development Unit Radio (PEU Radio) drives the end-to-end research and development of Ericsson’s radio products and solutions. We are part of a global organization, within Radio and Transport Engineering Unit (RTE), of approximately 400 engineers and developers collaborating across all PEU Radio sites in China and Sweden to drive Ericsson’s strategy of securing our ongoing market leadership in radio, taking a leadership position in 5G and the upcoming 6G.
Radio Products Canada drives end-to-end radio product development by enabling efficient WoW and shorten TTM with highest quality through an empowered development team, and close collaboration with our sourcing and supply teams.

What you will do:
— You are leader of leaders
— Your team is responsible for developing software, integrating, testing radio products
— You will build a team and work closely together with your peers locally as well as globally in Sweden and China
— You will get insight and interwork with other relevant RTE and RCE organizations
— You have the opportunity to work with Ericsson’s Tier1 customer units
— You can remove barriers and address complex situations with regards to technical challenges across all development domains
— You will be influential in changing and modelling the organization
— You’ll lead and motivate a team of 6 leaders to increase efficiency and remove impediments
— You get to work with a best in class local and global team, while interacting closely with our customers
- You get to lead and inspire a shift in organizational mindset towards Security and efficiency through adoption of generative AI
- You will collaborate and work closely with Ottawa RU SW teams and act as a local leader for the teams
In this Role you will also:
- Build High Performing and highly engaged teams following HWDP and product development lifecycle F milestones
- Actively lead and contribute to areas of Radio SW governance (global)
- Participate and influence the Technical Area Software, Firmware, DSP governance
- Build strong ties to global and local SW teams
- Engage and contribute to E2E SW architecture evolution in order to maximize reuse between Radio Types (Macro, Indoor) considering NG-OLLS, 6G positioning and other evolving features
- Take full responsibility of the modules owned by team, ensuring high quality deliveries
- Drive efficiencies in development and testing by utilizing AI and other digital technologies
- Foster an inspiring, collaboration and cooperation culture
- Be responsible for the entire product life cycle for your area of SW responsibility
