This role will work in partnership with the first line of defense in Information Security, Privacy, Risk and Compliance, as well as with technology teams to develop and improve data compliance and oversight capabilities and operations. They will focus on process automation, continuous improvement and use of innovative technology solutions to protect, monitor and limit the use of sensitive data. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who can build the strategy, frameworks, policies, processes, automation and reporting from the ground up. Equifax has a hybrid work schedule that allows for 2 days of remote work (Monday and Friday), with 3 days onsite (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) every week. This role reports to our office in Alpharetta, Georgia. This position does not offer immigration sponsorship (current or future) including F-1 STEM OPT extension support.  This is a direct-hire role and is not open to C2C or vendors.<h2>What you’ll do</h2><ul><li>Support development, socialization, and execution of a Second Line Data Governance strategy, in close partnership with first line of defense teams.</li><li>Develop and drive policies, processes, and standards associated with data assets.</li><li>Alignment and standardization of data stewardship roles and responsibilities.</li><li>Development and coordination of technology strategy to enable preventative and detective Data Governance controls, with a focus on process automation.</li><li>Creation and ongoing support of cross-functional policy making teams.</li><li>Organizational alignment of implementation responsibilities.</li><li>Work closely with enterprise and business unit stakeholders to ensure alignment with enterprise business plans and strategic initiatives.
