This role is a client facing, data and business intelligence expert who has held key positions within the various industries we serve. From this base of knowledge and experience, this team becomes interactive partners, designing data-driven solutions tailored to meet immediate business goals.This particular opening will work with our brokerage/wealth management and Tier 1 financial institution clients. Our Consultants are responsible for demonstrating the value of Equifax solutions and assets based on actual client data. In doing so, the Consultant enhances the client relationship, drives new programs/revenues and positions Equifax as a strategic advisor at their assigned accounts. This individual will be a quantitative thinker who has a solid grasp of Equifax’s data and associated assets, an ability to identify and understand the impact of market and economic trends, and a keen understanding of client business needs.  They will proactively identify and design quantitative analyses to generate new sales opportunities and support ongoing sales initiatives for the Equifax Strategic Financial Institution account teams.  Additionally, they will be responsible for maintaining a thorough understanding of the prevailing economic environment and its key drivers, the unique and changing business needs of financial services clients, and important trends in the consumer lending market.  This individual is a trusted analytical advisor to clients and will collaborate with both the sales team and the rest of the Equifax organization to optimize the use of our data and analytical assets.Lastly, they will act as a project leader for the development and delivery of analytical solutions such as quantitative analysis, model deployment and custom analytics.  He/she must work well in a team environment yet be a self-starter.  The Consultant cultivates key relationships and provides customer feedback to the account team.What you’ll do<ul><li>Co-develop (with sales partners) and execute plans leveraging Equifax solutions to enable revenue growth and market share with assigned client base</li><li>Provide analytical consulting expertise through client data to understand analytical needs for solution sales, development and implementation</li><li>Provide proactive solutions, consult with the client on their data/processes and highlight opportunities where Equifax data and analytics can positively impact the business</li><li>Create high impact proposals, presentations, internal business plans and related solution materials</li><li>Work closely with the account relationship teams, analytic fulfillment teams and key internal stakeholders &amp; management to produce customer facing presentations and other materials that clearly demonstrate the value of each analytic solution</li><li>Serve as a key consulting resource in the design, development, implementation and use of custom and generic analytical solutions and capabilities</li><li>Engage internal stakeholders, sales leadership, internal analytic teams and system/IT infrastructure teams to enable successful deployment, integration, and consumption of newly developed solutions by the customer</li><li>Leverage a consulting approach for improvement to systems and processes already in place with the client</li><li>Consult with clients on methods of maximizing profit through optimization of data, models and analytics</li><li>Proactively work with account relationship teams and other internal teams to devise new engagement approaches and strategies that can help deepen account penetration, increase market share and achieve annual revenue goals</li><li>Present at customer and industry forums to help elevate the Equifax brand, generate product interest and drive industry thought-leadership</li><li>Travel: up to 25%</li></ul>What experience you need  <ul><li>Bachelors degree in a quantitative field of study or closely related discipline</li><li>10+ years of relevant work experience in some or all of the following areas relating to data analysis, business development, and/or statistical R&amp;D<ul><li>Business growth strategies</li><li>Credit risk scoring and data</li><li>Consumer lifecycle management</li><li>Credit risk strategy development</li><li>Marketing analytics</li></ul></li></ul><ul><li>Experience working at or with brokerages/wealth management companies and/or strategic financial institutions focused on driving business growth or operational efficiencies</li><li>Proven ability to synthesize in-depth analyses that leverage data directly supplied from a Credit Bureau or other third party data provider into appropriately positioned and impactful internal and external client presentations</li></ul>What could set you apart<ul><li>MBA or Graduate degree in relevant field</li><li>Experience using SAS/R/Python or other industry standard statistical software</li></ul>Equifax is required by law to include a good-faith salary range for this role. This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: skill sets; experience and training; and other business and organizational needs. At Equifax, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $129,830 to $194,500. This position is also eligible for our annual incentive compensation program at approximately 15%.
