Our company values are easy to explain – we are dynamic, human, honest and passionate about providing awesome service.  Were looking for a PR Manager to work alongside the CEO, COO and CPO to ensure that the PR strategy is as ambitious as the company is.  Public Relations &amp; Brand Management <ul> <li>Own and execute Epos Now’s public relations strategy.</li> <li>Define and maintain the company’s tone of voice and ensure all communications reflect our brand values.</li> <li>Create and manage a press release calendar for significant business events (e.g., product launches, customer case studies, appointments, CSR initiatives, investment or IPO announcements).</li> <li>Engage stakeholders and lead copywriting and design efforts as required.</li> </ul> Media Outreach &amp; Engagement <ul> <li>Build and maintain relationships with journalists, trade publications, and media outlets globally to increase brand awareness.</li> <li>Proactively identify speaking engagements, panels, and media appearances for key spokespeople (CEO, COO, CPO).</li> <li>Ensure all press releases and content have follow-backlinks and are SEO compliant.</li> </ul> Newsjacking &amp; Thought Leadership <ul> <li>Monitor breaking news relevant to our customers and sector, creating timely responses and thought leadership content.</li> <li>Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on public statements.</li> </ul> Case Studies &amp; Awards <ul> <li>Deliver at least one customer case study per quarter with video and photography, ensuring high-traffic pages are leveraged.</li> <li>Maintain an annual awards calendar; submit entries and manage award participation to maximise exposure.</li> <li>Amplify award wins across internal and external channels.</li> </ul> Hero of the High Street Report <ul> <li>Create quarterly data analysis reports highlighting key market trends for retail and hospitality sectors.</li> <li>Ensure reports are published on a dedicated landing page and used as PR content across channels.</li> </ul> Event Management &amp; Influencers <ul> <li>Develop a repeatable trade show calendar, managing logistics, ROI reporting, and lead capture.</li> <li>Host webinars, panels, or customer events with strategic partners to enhance visibility.</li> <li>Explore influencer opportunities to promote Epos Now products and services.</li> </ul> General PR Duties <ul> <li>Serve as first point of contact for inbound media enquiries and crisis management.</li> <li>Deliver monthly PR reports including engagement, media coverage, backlinks, and lead generation.</li> <li>Ensure internal teams are informed and engaged with published content.</li> </ul> Success Measures / KPIs <ul> <li>Minimum of 1 press release every two weeks (moving to weekly when feasible).</li> <li>At least 2 pieces of content per month featured in Tier 1 and Tier 2 publications.</li> <li>One customer case study per quarter.</li> <li>Win at least one award per quarter in relevant categories.</li> <li>Successful execution of 4 trade shows in the first year.</li> <li>Regular publication and amplification of the quarterly Hero of the High Street report.</li> </ul> Skills &amp; Experience <ul> <li>Proven experience in PR, communications, or copywriting, ideally in tech, retail, hospitality, or SME sectors.</li> <li>Strong media relations and journalist engagement experience.</li> <li>Exceptional writing and editing skills with attention to brand tone and voice.</li> <li>Experience in event management, awards submissions, and influencer collaboration.</li> <li>Understanding of SEO best practices, content amplification, and digital PR.</li> <li>Ability to work autonomously, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</li> </ul> Personal Attributes <ul> <li>Creative and proactive thinker with a “can-do” attitude.</li> <li>Highly organised with strong project management skills.</li> <li>Passionate about SMEs and supporting their growth.</li> <li>Comfortable representing Epos Now externally and in the media spotlight.</li> </ul>
