We are backed by Offline.VC, Charge.VC, VSC, Continuum Ventures, as well as many prominent angels in Silicon Valley.</span></div><div><br /></div><div><b>Role:</b></div><div><span>We are seeking an enthusiastic, friendly and organized exercise specialist who is passionate about treating obesity as a disease to improve the myriad chronic health conditions associated with weight- including hypertension, type 2 diabetes, sleep apnea and more- to join our team. In this role, you will see patients via telehealth and work with a multidisciplinary team including medical providers, and nutrition specialists to provide best-in-class care and outcomes for your patients - communicating with them both synchronously and asynchronously.</span></div><h3>Exercise Specialist Duties and Responsibilities:</h3><ul><li>Evaluate client fitness level and skill set to plan reachable goals</li><li>Educate and demonstrate to clients exercise and injury prevention</li><li>Create a training plan tailored to client needs</li><li>Chart and track client progress</li><li>Motivate and encourage client through positive words via app with high level of engagement</li><li>Adjust client personalized plans as goals are reached</li><li>Educate clients on evidence based exercise programming.</li><li>Adaptable to a wide range of clients of all ages based on their fitness capabilities</li><li>Willingness to work cooperatively with the Dietetics department on patient fitness plans</li></ul><h3>Exercise Specialist Requirements and Qualifications:</h3><ul><li>Bachelors degree in exercise science, exercise physiology, or kinesiology</li><li>2-3 years of hands-on experience in one-on-one coaching, preferably in a clinical or healthcare <a href="http://setting.Clinical">setting.</a></li><li><a href="http://setting.Clinical">Clinical</a> experience in a related field is highly <a href="http://desirable.ACSM">desirable.</a></li><li><a href="http://desirable.ACSM">ACSM</a> certification is mandatory, or required within 6 months of <a href="http://hire.Fluency">hire.</a></li><li><a href="http://hire.Fluency">Fluency</a> in both Spanish and English languages</li><li><a href="http://dialects.Strong">Strong</a> communication skills and the ability to build rapport with Arabic-speaking <a href="http://patients.Knowledge">patients.</a></li><li><a href="http://patients.Knowledge">Knowledge</a> of the latest trends and developments in exercise physiology and fitness <a href="http://training.Ability">training.</a></li><li><a href="http://training.Ability">Ability</a> to work independently and manage remote coaching sessions <a href="http://effectively.Empathy">effectively.</a></li><li><a href="http://effectively.Empathy">Empathy</a>, patience, and a passion for helping others achieve their health and wellness goals.</li><li><b>Bilingual Spanish fluency is a must</b></li></ul><div><span>Enara Health offers a supportive and collaborative work environment where you can make a real difference in the lives of our patients.
