About the Opportunity As a Senior Solutions Consultant at Ellucian, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between institutional needs and Ellucian’s technology solutions. You’ll collaborate closely with sales teams to articulate how the Ellucian Student platform can address the strategic and operational challenges faced by tertiary education institutions across the Asia Pacific region. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Solution Consulting APAC, you’ll be part of a global team that brings deep functional expertise and regional insight to every engagement. Where You Will Make an Impact Opportunity Qualification: Partner with Account Executives to assess and qualify sales opportunities, ensuring alignment between institutional goals and Ellucian’s functional capabilities. Solution Alignment: Lead consultative discussions to map client business processes to Ellucian’s solutions, demonstrating how our offerings solve real-world challenges in tertiary education. Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate discovery sessions, workshops, demonstrations and presentations that translate complex requirements into actionable solution strategies. Industry Representation: Represent Ellucian at conferences and events, sharing insights and showcasing how our solutions support institutional transformation. Demonstration Excellence: Collaborate with technical teams to enhance product demonstrations, ensuring they reflect real institutional scenarios and resonate with diverse audiences. Tender and RFI Responses: Lead the functional contribution to formal tender and RFI responses, ensuring that submissions are accurate, compelling, and aligned with client requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather input, craft tailored responses, and meet submission deadlines. Workshop Facilitation: Design and deliver configuration and solution workshops, guiding stakeholders through the value and functionality of Ellucian’s offerings. Demonstrated curiosity and aptitude for leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity, problem-solving, and decision-making in day-to-day work. What You Will Bring Functional Expertise: Ability to clearly explain and demonstrate software capabilities to diverse stakeholders, ensuring they understand how to leverage technology to meet institutional goals. Prior experience in a presales or solution consulting role is advantageous. Sector Knowledge: Familiarity with the higher education landscape in APAC, including regional trends, challenges, and operational models. Solution Orientation: Strong understanding of SaaS/cloud-based solutions and how they support institutional agility and scalability. Process Insight: Experience with student system implementations and business process transformation, ideally within the education sector. Ellucian Product Experience: Prior use or knowledge of Ellucian systems is a strong advantage.
