About the Opportunity Are you seeking to join an innovative team in an exciting Higher Education technology firm? If you are also passionate about analytics and have an interest to build an expertise in industry-leading tech tools: Snowflake (SQL), and Tableau dashboards, then this could be a great fit for you!   In this role, the candidate will lead the development and management of Cloud Service Operations data assets and generate meaningful reporting in a lean, streamlined, and scalable fashion. The primary focus will be on the optimization of Cloud Service Operations information flow, data modeling, and delivering meaningful insights through Tableau and other industry-leading tools The candidate will join our Cloud Service Operations team to develop Cloud operations and delivery insights to support decision making and strategy setting at the highest levels of the organization. This candidate will: Where will you make an impact Assist with the definition and creation of executive or summarized-level reporting, compiling metrics across the Cloud organization, including tactical and strategic reporting, up to board of director level reporting. Build automated reporting at scale using ServiceNow, SQL, and Tableau for strategic programs including cloud governance, cloud operations, cloud engineering and cloud modernization. Partner closely with a variety of stakeholders to validate metrics relevant to their domains to compile, create, and best represent Cloud performance metrics. Work collaboratively with key Cloud stakeholders and cross-functional groups (e.g., Professional Services), and executive teams on the design, development, testing, implementation, and evaluation of data assets, reporting tools, and business processes to improve outcomes and drive better performance transparency across multiple teams. An ideal candidate will exhibit consultative ‘problem-solver’ qualities while working with business stakeholders, having a ‘can-do’ self-starter mindset to drive forward initiatives to be a valued team member supporting the digital evolution of the organization.   What will you bring 5+ years in Data Management 5+ years of experience working with Cloud Operations processes (e.g.: ITSM) and related key performance indicators in a SaaS environment, and related database management and data visualization. 5+ years of experience related to data analytics leveraging any software tools such as: Tableau, Microsoft Excel, Snowflake, SQL Queries, etc., and generating insights from analysis Experience in synthesizing analytics themes and key performance indicators - turning data into stories that end-users can understand and respond to Experience drawing conclusions from quantitative and qualitative analysis, to deliver actionable next steps or make helpful recommendations to cloud colleagues or leaders Experience with building advanced reports and dashboards in ServiceNow; ServiceNow Performance Analytics Certification strongly desired Proficient in ITIL methodology and principles; ITIL certification strongly desired Experience with fulfilling ad-hoc business analysis requests by querying enterprise size databases and performing analysis to answer key questions or provide insights Knowledge of data analytics methods, structures, and techniques, (data extraction, analysis, queries, data blending) Structured thinker with a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills Results oriented with thoughtful actions, flexible and collaborative Creative problem solver with a healthy mix of intellectual agility and curiosity  Strong communication & presentation skills Knowledge and experience with driving projects, facilitating business intelligence demos, and managing stakeholders across different levels and depts Foundational Excel and Power Point skills What makes ## Ellucianlife Comprehensive health insurance reimbursement Life insurance Wellness benefits 17 workdays vacation Christmas bonus payout in June & December Thrive Flex Program that allows you to contribute towards your health, financial or learning interests 5 charitable days to support the community that supports us Diversity and inclusion programs that promote employee resource groups such as: Women in Technology, Pride and Go Green to name a few.
