As part of the SPE organization, you will provide technical leadership and contribution to cutting-edge AI products. How You’ll Succeed:<ul><li>Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, promoting best practices and fostering a collaborative and delivery-oriented environment.</li><li>Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of AI  products, with a focus on scalability and performance.</li><li>Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including scientists, researchers, and business stakeholders</li></ul> Your Basic Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field</li><li>10+ years of programming experience in languages such as Python, JS, Go and experience with Kubernetes</li><li>5+ years of software engineering leadership experience, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects. </li></ul> Additional Skills/Preferences:<ul><li>Up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory requirements in the life sciences and AI domains. </li><li>Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field</li><li>Proficiency in Python with understanding of async, streaming and other concepts.  </li><li>Experience in the life sciences or regulated industries is highly preferred. </li><li>Familiarity with AI, Machine Learning, and Large Language Models is a plus. </li><li>Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. </li></ul> Additional Information:<ul><li>This role is located in Indianapolis, IN with a hybrid work model</li></ul>Lilly is dedicated to helping individuals with disabilities to actively engage in the workforce, ensuring equal opportunities when vying for positions.
