The Approve Tower – QA Global SAP Materials and Operations is a technical expert on SAP functionality and is responsible for interacting with both the quality/business and IT organizations to implement the global SAP design.  The Global SAP Approve Tower QA role plays a key part to ensure the sites understand expectations of the functionality by delivering system training, advising on global design, making improvements where needed, and trouble-shooting user -issues that arise.

Key Objectives/Deliverables:

  • Provide project support to implement QM Global design (EWM, BRH, DART, new facility start-ups)
  • Provide Site support for QM Global Design and issue resolution
  • Steward of QM master data - MGL_00005 (Local QM Data Stewards) / MGL 11 Global QM Data Stewards). 
  • Manage 830 requests, completion and verification of master data changes.
  • Own the creation and revision of test scripts, ensure requirements are met through testing, Review & Approve test executions in ALM
  • Monitor Non-Terminal data.  Support sites in non-terminal data identification and remediation.
  • Coordinate Regression testing.
  • Own global Change Control for Global Business process changes.  Coordinate the implementation of changes, train users, maintain supporting documentation.
  • Own QM Power User Forums for communications with the sites.
  • Support Global Batch Traceability reporting and improvements.
  • Own harmonization of processes across Network.
  • Maintain SAP User Guides for the business partners and educate sites on topics.
  • Subject Matter Expert for CGMP’s and business requirements for the SAP system
  • Represent business area requirements within SAP (and related solutions) and to influence future direction of QM module
  • Accountable for Authoring, maintaining and executing global quality management procedures and
  • Provide communication to site QA/QC on system design and business process expectations
  • Assist business partners in defining requirements and in developing business cases.
  • Partner with other IT groups to manage integration and solutions (e.g., TW, LIMS).

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location.  The anticipated wage for this position is

$63,000 - $162,800

Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
