The Role We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our mission of designing the right tools and experiences for our users. As a Senior Product Designer, you will own the entire design process for complex, ambiguous problems within a specific product domain. You will be responsible for not only delivering high-quality features but also for shaping the strategic direction of your domain and ensuring your team is focused on solving the right user problems. What Youll Do <ul> <li>Deeply understand our users—their problems, workflows, and jobs-to-be-done—to ensure we are always solving for the right thing.</li> <li>Own and lead the design process from discovery to delivery, making key decisions on solution direction and details.</li> <li>Drive the strategic direction of your domain in partnership with Product and Engineering, forecasting the impact of your solutions on users.</li> <li>Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver a clear, consistent, and high-quality user experience.</li> <li>Define and own the user satisfaction and usability metrics for your solutions, ensuring the team is aligned on how to measure success.</li> <li>Act as a leader on the design team by mentoring other designers, leading design critiques, and driving initiatives that improve our culture, tools, and processes.</li> </ul> What Were Looking For <ul> <li>3+ years of experience designing and shipping complex, web-based products in a cross-functional team.</li> <li>A strong online portfolio demonstrating your ability to navigate ambiguous problem spaces, from research and strategy through to polished, human-centered user experiences. Your portfolio should showcase your strengths in UX, UI, and visual design.</li> <li>Proven experience in leading and executing a variety of user research methods.</li> <li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of building strong partnerships with Product and Engineering.</li> <li>Proficiency in modern design tools like Figma.</li> <li>Experience in designing for complex workflows is a must; experience in healthcare or with AI-powered experiences is a strong plus.</li> </ul> SALARY RANGE: $160,000- 190,000 CAD <hr /> Elation welcomes individuals from all backgrounds and walks of life.
