What your impact will be: <ul> <li>You will own delivery for key aspects of the Support Innovation and Delivery platform.</li> <li>You will design, build, and optimize scalable support engineering solutions to enhance reliability, automation, and self-service.</li> <li>You will collaborate across teams to bring AI-driven workflows, knowledge integration, and operational excellence to the Support function.</li> <li>You will continuously improve Kubernetes-based infrastructure, automation pipelines, and support tooling to accelerate customer outcomes.</li> </ul> What you will bring: <ul> <li>5–8+ years of experience working as a DevOps, SRE, or Software Engineer in large-scale environments. </li> <li>Kubernetes expertise:</li> <ul> <li>Deep understanding of pods, services, deployments, volumes, namespaces, RBAC</li> <li>Hands-on experience with kubectl, Helm, YAML-based definitions</li> <li>Ability to troubleshoot and optimize workloads for performance and efficiency</li> </ul> <li>Development skills (Python and/or Go): </li> <ul> <li>Building automation, microservices, and internal tooling</li> <li>Familiarity with RESTful APIs, CLI development, and integrations</li> <li>Experience with testing, logging, and performance profiling</li> </ul> <li>Git &amp; GitHub fluency: </li> <ul> <li>Strong grasp of branching, merging, rebasing, and conflict resolution</li> <li>Experience with PR reviews, GitHub Actions, issues, and release workflows</li> </ul> <li>AI concepts &amp; systems: </li> <ul> <li>Understanding of LLMs, RAG, embeddings, vector search, and retriever architectures</li> <li>Exposure to AI model deployment and integration with backend services a plus</li> </ul> <li>Linux system administration: </li> <ul> <li>Proficiency in shell scripting, performance tuning, and monitoring with tools like top, htop, iostat, netstat</li> <li>Comfort with configuring and troubleshooting Ubuntu/CentOS servers</li> </ul> <li>PostgreSQL basics: </li> <ul> <li>Setup, configuration, backups, indexing strategies, and query plan interpretation</li> <li>Understanding of roles, permissions, and extensions</li> </ul> </ul> What will give you an edge: <ul> <li>Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, etc.)</li> <li>Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and image management</li> <li>Exposure to observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, etc.)</li> <li>Prior experience working in customer support or platform engineering environments</li> </ul><div>EDB is committed to supporting our employees overall well being by offering a range of benefits and resources to promote a healthy work-life balance and wellness.
