We partner across product and marketing teams to create a unified brand system that’s flexible, inclusive, and built for the future.As a Sr. Staff Brand Designer, you’ll play a key role in evolving our global design system. You’ll work with cross-functional partners to shape how eBay looks and feels across every touchpoint—from digital experiences to brand guidelines. You’ll contribute directly to core design work while helping guide strategic direction.This is a hands-on, collaborative role where youll grow your leadership skills, mentor other designers, and explore new ways to expand the brand. You’ll help create scalable, human-centered solutions that support consistency, creativity, and clarity.What you will accomplish:<ul><li>Contribute to the evolution of eBay’s brand system, building on existing foundations to support new experiences</li><li>Create and refine core brand elements, such as typography, layout, iconography, illustration, and color</li><li>Collaborate with product, marketing and design systems teams to ensure consistent implementation</li><li>Shape brand documentation and tools to make brand adoption easier across teams</li><li>Translate brand goals into visual systems that are adaptable, inclusive, and easy to use</li><li>Work directly on high-impact design projects with attention to craft and accessibility</li><li>Provide thoughtful feedback during design critiques and help foster a culture of inclusion and shared learning</li><li>Mentor other designers by sharing best practices and offering guidance on visual execution</li></ul>What you will bring:<ul><li>10+ years of professional design experience, including visual, brand, or product design</li><li>A portfolio that demonstrates strong visual storytelling, attention to detail, and systems thinking</li><li>Expertise with tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, presentation platforms, as well as using AI or emerging tools in your creative process is a must have for the role</li><li>Experience evolving and applying design systems across multiple platforms and touchpoints</li><li>Enthusiasm for mentoring others and helping teammates grow their skills</li><li>Interest in accessibility, inclusive design, and building experiences that work for everyone  </li></ul>Bonus Skills:<ul><li>Familiarity with motion, 3D, or sonic branding</li><li>Experience contributing to or partnering with design systems teams</li><li>Experience with AI generated design </li><li>Background in ecommerce, global platforms, or customer-centered product design</li></ul>#LI-HybridThe base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:$142,400 - $232,300Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave).
