We are seeking a top-tier Senior Risk and Controls Advisor to join our strategic and regulatory risk and advisory program within eBays Global Customer Experience (GCX) organization! In this role, you will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to thoroughly understand existing regulatory processes, identify potential risks, evaluate controls, and identify areas for improvement. Additionally, you will act in an advisory capacity on regulatory projects supporting the GCX organization in ensuring that solutions meet regulatory obligations.

The candidate for this position will possess expertise in audit, compliance and/or regulatory matters. Additionally, the candidate will have experience identifying process improvement opportunities and recommending remediation options!

Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed risk assessments of diverse regulatory processes and control testing programs.
  • Optimally communicate the findings of risk assessments and control testing outcomes to business process owners and leadership.
  • Provide strategic advice on opportunities for improvement and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks and improve control mechanisms.
  • Collaborate with regulatory project teams throughout the project lifecycle to identify potential risks, develop robust controls, and ensure solutions align with regulatory obligations.
  • Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders for successful cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in compliance, risk, audit, or related field in a regulated environment, with Internal audit/external audit/advisory experience in a multi-national organization preferred
  • CPA/CA, CIA, CFA, CISA or other professional certification a plus
  • Experience running program plans, tracking to completion, and coordinating between multiple business partners
  • Experience understanding and translating requirements, evaluating business processes and recommending suite of preventive and detective controls to optimally mitigate risk
  • Experience analyzing data sets to gain insights
  • Experience with risk management practices and principles, including the identification, evaluation, documentation, and communication of risks
  • Experience carrying out control testing programs, including application of structured sampling methodologies and identification of testing procedures

The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:

$70,000 - $120,700

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
