Within this team, the Fashion Communications function focuses on one of eBay’s most dynamic and influential verticals. We champion eBay’s leadership in circular fashion and recommerce, bringing our mission to life through creative storytelling and high-impact media engagement. <h2>About the Role</h2>We are seeking a Senior Manager, Fashion Communications to lead communications strategy and storytelling for eBay’s global fashion category. This role will define how eBay shows up in the fashion ecosystem — spotlighting our trusted assortment and community of buyers and sellers. The ideal candidate is a communications leader with deep fashion industry experience, established media relationships, and a passion for creativity and culture. You’ll be responsible for driving the earned media strategy that positions eBay as a destination for fashion discovery and conscious shopping.<h2>What You’ll Do</h2><ul><li>Own the Fashion Narrative: Craft and evolve eBay’s fashion story to emphasize assortment, trust, and community. </li><li>Lead Integrated Campaigns: Build and execute innovative communications campaigns that highlight eBay’s role in the fashion resale economy.</li><li>Drive Earned Media Excellence: Secure consistent coverage across fashion, lifestyle, and business outlets, elevating eBay’s visibility and relevance with consumers and industry. </li><li>Build Influencer Partnerships: Partner with creators, stylists, and tastemakers who authentically connect eBay to modern fashion culture.</li><li>Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with the Fashion Business, Marketing, Merchandising, and Creative teams to support major fashion moments and seasonal campaigns.</li><li>Manage Global Agencies: Direct agency partners to execute strategic, on-brand storytelling across markets.</li><li>Spot Trends and Opportunities: Identify fashion and cultural moments where eBay can authentically lead the conversation.</li></ul><h2>What You’ll Bring</h2><ul><li>8-10 years of fashion PR experience, with a mix of agency and in-house leadership preferred.</li><li>Strong network of fashion media, editors, stylists, and influencers across global markets.</li><li>Demonstrated success in developing and leading integrated PR campaigns for global brands or fashion platforms.</li><li>Deep understanding of fashion industry dynamics, sustainability, and resale trends.</li><li>Strong creative instincts and the ability to translate business priorities into media-worthy narratives.</li><li>Proven ability to influence, collaborate, and deliver in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.</li></ul>The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:$162,000 - $216,300Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave).
