This role is central to eBay’s mission to simplify shipping for sellers and create a fast, reliable, and cost-effective delivery experience for buyers.As a Product Manager, you’ll own the end-to-end strategy, roadmap, and execution of AI/ML-driven capabilities that estimate item weight and dimensions, predict package sizes, and recommend optimal shipping services leveraging working knowledge of LLMs, classification and regression models. Youll work cross-functionally with engineering, design, data science, and other product teams to develop scalable solutions that remove complexity from sellers and reduce costs across the shipping journey.What you will accomplish:<ul><li>Define and drive the product vision and strategy for Shipping Cost Management, aligned with eBay’s broader shipping strategy.</li><li>Partner with engineers, data scientists, designers, and fellow PMs to deliver AI-powered solutions that predict item/package characteristics and recommend shipping options.</li><li>Develop features that help sellers seamlessly adopt accurate shipping settings by automating weight/dimension entry and suggesting optimal carriers and costs.</li><li>Establish clear product metrics, set hypotheses, and run A/B experiments to measure impact on seller adoption, cost savings, and buyer conversion.</li><li>Collaborate with international teams to scale capabilities globally and ensure alignment with logistics partners and marketplace policies.</li><li>Communicate product vision, progress, and findings clearly to partners and executives.</li></ul>What you will bring:<ul><li>12+ years of product management experience, ideally in ecommerce, or AI/ML-driven products. </li><li>Strong analytical approach; able to define and track success metrics using data.</li><li>Experience working with AI/ML technologies, LLMs and Regression Models and data science teams is required.</li><li>Solid understanding of solving business problems using AI and ability to connect data science outcomes in meeting business goals</li><li>Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills</li><li>Passion for simplifying complex systems and delivering delightful customer experiences.</li></ul>The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:$197,200 - $263,300Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave).
