We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Associate Site Merchandising Manager to join the eBay Live team. In this highly cross-functional role, you will own the event and channel strategy for the eBay Live Hub and related surfaces, crafting how we showcase and amplify our live shopping events across eBay’s platform. You will be the connective tissue between merchandising, marketing, media partners, and core eBay teams, driving performance and visibility of live commerce initiatives.As a champion of the eBay Live customer experience, you’ll develop compelling, data-driven merchandising strategies to highlight our most engaging live shows, optimize content placement across the site, and partner with internal and external teams to drive traffic, awareness, and conversion.<h2>What you will accomplish:</h2><ul><li>Own the eBay Live Hub merchandising strategy: Develop and maintain a dynamic programming calendar to showcase upcoming and on-demand eBay Live events, optimizing for traffic, conversion, and customer engagement.</li><li>Lead performance analytics: Monitor KPIs across the Live hub and channel placements to understand what drives engagement and sales. Translate insights into actionable strategies and continuous optimization.</li><li>Brief and partner with marketing teams: Collaborate with internal brand, performance, and CRM marketing teams to brief them into key eBay Live programs and ensure cohesive multi-channel campaigns support event awareness and traffic.</li><li>Drive content partnerships: Lead content strategy with external media partners and influencers to develop high-impact assets and storytelling that amplify eBay Live events and bring new customers into the ecosystem.</li><li>Cross-functional campaign strategy: Collaborate with the Core Site, Category Merchandising, and Homepage teams to integrate eBay Live events into key site placements and seasonal campaigns, ensuring eBay Live is positioned as a core shopping destination.</li><li>Optimize content and UX: Work with product, UX, and creative teams to test and refine content modules, layout, and user flow on the Live hub for improved discoverability and engagement.</li><li>Maintain a consistent brand voice and experience across all eBay Live merchandising touchpoints, ensuring alignment with eBay’s overall strategy and shopper promise.</li></ul><h2>What you will bring:</h2><ul><li>5+ years of experience in site merchandising, content strategy, digital marketing, or related field, preferably in eCommerce or digital media.</li><li>Strong analytical skills with experience using dashboards, KPIs, and A/B testing to drive performance.</li><li>Demonstrated success in working cross-functionally and influencing without authority.</li><li>Experience briefing creative and marketing teams, and managing calendarized content planning.</li><li>Passion for live commerce, digital storytelling, and customer-first thinking.</li><li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and juggle multiple priorities.</li><li>Familiarity with eBay, live streaming platforms, e-commerce marketplaces a plus</li></ul><h3></h3>The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:$70,000 - $120,700Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave).
