Eaton’s Digital Employee Experience (DEX) team is seeking a Principal Digital Employee Experience Solutions Architect to join our team. This position can be based at any Eaton US facility or remotely within the US.
The Principal DEX Architect will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and architectural designs for the Digital Employee Experience (DEX) team’s main services with a focus on emerging technologies such as Generative and Agentic AI. This role involves functionally leading a small team of technical architects, collaborating with various stakeholders, and engaging senior leaders to ensure strategic initiatives are in alignment with industry standard architectural principles while focusing on delivering business outcomes.
The ideal DEX Solutions Architect candidate has a track record of leveraging emerging technologies and best practices to help define an overall strategic technology roadmap to address the nuances of a large, complex enterprise organization.
In this role, you will be expected to assess the current landscape and drive continuous improvements and technology optimizations to deliver a frictionless experience for Eaton’s workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic direction and architectural leadership for all DEX platforms and implementations with a focus on the following technologies: Generative and Agentic AI, ServiceNow, Nexthink, Dynatrace, SharePoint, and other pillar technologies.
• Act as a technical lead in DEX engagements, providing thought leadership and best practices. Proven experience with the ServiceNow platform is critical to success, but the scope is not limited to ITSM/ServiceNow architecture
• Assess, prototype, and infuse generative and agentic AI technologies to transform ITSM and DEX processes and IT service.
• Create high-level designs and specifications, ensuring they are reusable, reliable, and adaptive while working in an Agile methodology.
• Lead and mentor a team of Technical Architects, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, business analysts, solution architects, and developers to ensure seamless delivery from initial design to implementation.
• Influence customer objectives, define vision and value, and present technical solutions to senior stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Basic (Required) Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering or a related field from an accredited institution
• Minimum eight (8) years’ experience in IT roles of increasing responsibility
• Minimum five (5) years ServiceNow consulting experience, with a history of leading large-scale, complex implementations
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship both now and in the future
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master’s degree from an accredited institution
• ServiceNow Certified Administrator (CSA)
• ITSM Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS-ITSM)
• Certified Application Developer (CAD)
• Two additional ServiceNow certifications (e.g., CIS in CSM, HR, SecOps)
• Azure/M365 Certification
Position Success Criteria:
• Technology Experience: ServiceNow, Nexthink, Dynatrace, SharePoint, M365, VDI Technologies (Citrix, Azure VDI, W365)
• Strong presentation skills, ability to lead workshops, and experience in partnering with senior directors.
• Proven experience with ServiceNow’s NowAssist technologies (or other Agentic AI technologies) and prompt engineering is critical

The expected annual salary range for this role is $141000.03 - $206800.04 a year. This role is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
