Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Design Automation Engineer.
This position will be based remotely in the United States.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $93750.03 - $137500.04 a year.

What you’ll do:
Join our software development team to build advanced Business Process Automation (BPA) and Knowledge Based Engineering (KBE) solutions for Eaton’s BPAF web portal. Youll design object-oriented software, define processes with SMEs, and create project documentation like SOWs and Functional Specs.
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining normalized SQL databases, building product models using shared libraries, and creating Engineer-to-Order (ETO) solutions with Autodesk Inventor ETO Server and the Intent language. Strong skills in 3D CAD modeling, C#, .NET, JavaScript, HTML8, and experience with Azure DevOps Server are essential.

In this role you will:
- Proficient in 3D solid modeling, especially with Autodesk Inventor
Collaborates with customers to interpret requirements
Works with peers to apply shared methodologies
- Engages external experts for specialized solutions
Skilled in Windows and MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio)
Ability to conceptualize and apply abstract mathematical models to complex spatial systems
Technical knowledge or ability to learn:
Autodesk Inventor ETO & API
.NET Framework, MS SQL, Visual Studio, Azure DevOps Server
Object-oriented design & database normalization
Web-based and multi-tier service bus architectures
MS Active Directory principles
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in 3D solid modeling.

Preferred Qualifications:
