This role also compiles and maintains benefits records and documentation, as well as develops and delivers educational content surrounding benefits programs and initiatives.Key Result Areas (KRAs)Accurately track and manage newly eligible employee enrollments, loss of coverage, and assist employees with benefits inquiries:<ul><li>Utilize Zendesk ticketing system to answer and assign inquiries</li><li>Track benefits eligibility for new hires, newly eligible employees and employees who are losing eligibility. </li><li>Assist employees with understanding and enrolling in benefit programs with the Workday system. </li><li>Assist employees with benefit program questions to ensure better understanding and problem resolution. </li><li>Ensure accurate enrollment, tracking, and deductions of benefits within the Workday System. </li><li>Review and approve benefit enrollments in the Workday system for all eligible employees. </li><li>Initiate manual benefits events and annual enrollment events within Workday. </li><li>Supports Leaders in ACA reporting and tracking.</li></ul>Continuously improve benefits processes and work with team members to improve benefits offerings and execute projects:<ul><li>Update and review benefits program information for changes, accuracy, and best understanding. </li><li>Support the implementation of new benefit programs, projects and annual enrollment. </li><li>Identify and propose additions and improvements to benefits programs. </li><li>Perform audits to ensure data integrity and accuracy</li><li>Liaison with external COBRA vendors to ensure accurate records and reporting. </li><li>Collaborate with benefits and engagement teams to deliver educational and engaging Open Enrollment content annually.</li></ul>Maintains clear, open communication and relationships with Insurance Brokers, Carriers and Internal Stakeholders:<ul><li>Work with outside vendors, internal stakeholders, and/or employees to administer leave/benefits including but not limited to: <ul><li>Medical Insurance </li><li>Dental Insurance </li><li>Vision Insurance </li><li>Short-Term Disability </li><li>Long-Term Disability </li><li>Life Insurance </li><li>Accident Insurance </li></ul></li><li>Work alongside the Accounting and Payroll team to ensure the timely reconciliation of premiums and accurate withholdings.</li><li>Coordinate with insurance brokers and other benefits services representatives to resolve employee issues or system problems. </li><li>Work with brokers and carriers on exceptions, correcting employee enrollment errors, and other situations requiring intervention. </li><li>Work with accounting/finance to ensure reporting needs are met</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul>Job Qualifications<ul><li>Minimum of 2 years experience in Human Resources</li><li>Additional 2 years of experience in administering health benefit plans</li><li>WorkDay experience preferred</li><li>Must have good verbal and written communication skills and problem-solving skills </li><li>Experience with Google Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite </li><li>Organizational skills and attention to detail </li><li>Understand and enact the ethical standards of an HR professional</li></ul>Location Requirement: This role is located in the Greater Phoenix area.
