Discover the many reasons the world’s most talented people are choosing to work at DuPont. <a target="_blank" href="https://careers.dupont.com/us/en/whyjoinus">Why Join Us | DuPont Careers</a>We are seeking a skilled Senior Application Developer with SAP expertise to join our corporate IT team on a full-time, direct basis at our global headquarters in Wilmington, DE.This person is expected to possess strong technical expertise in SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and SAP Business Technology Platform [BTP].  This role demands hands-on experience in full-stack development using SAP BTP services along with modern tools &amp; technologies.  This person will be responsible for end-to-end solution delivery (including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment).  This position plays a critical role in delivering scalable, robust, and high-performance applications that align with the organization’s strategic objectives!PRIMARY DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>Collaborate with business users, functional consultants, and technical teams to gather requirements that lead to designing effective &amp; innovative solutions.</li><li>Lead the design / development of custom applications across SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and SAP BTP landscapes.</li><li>Design and implement modern solutions using SAP BTP services (such as CAP, RAP, Business Application Studio [BAS], Build Apps, Process Automation, WorkZone / Workflow management, etc.).</li><li>Develop / manage Core Data Services [CDS] views, create OData services, and integrate with SAP Fiori/UI5 applications.</li><li>Ensure application quality, performance, and scalability (through code reviews, unit testing, and performance tuning).</li><li>Develop seamless integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems using OData, REST, and SOAP protocols.</li><li>Adhere to DevOps practices (including CI/CD pipelines, version control, and automated testing).</li><li>Ensure all development complies with security, regulatory, and coding standards.</li><li>Additional duties may be assigned, as needed.</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS:Basic Requirements:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree.</li><li>8+ years of professional experience working in software programming / application development with SAP-oriented technologies.</li><li>4+ years of professional experience working with solution architecture &amp; technical design.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Completion of a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.</li><li>Extensive hands-on experience with SAP BTP application development, preferably with a variety of services (e.g.:  CAP, RAP, BAS, Build Apps, Process Automation, WorkZone / Workflow management, etc.).</li><li>Advanced expertise with ABAP development for SAP ECC and S/4HANA.</li><li>Experience working on multiple full-cycle S/4HANA implementations.</li><li>Strong experience developing applications across various SAP modules (e.g.:  FI/CO, OTC, MM, PM, QM, S2P, M&amp;S, etc.).</li><li>Proven expertise in ABAP OO, BAPI’s, BADI’s, enhancements, workflows, and data migration tools.</li><li>Strong experience in relevant front-end technologies (i.e.:  SAP Fiori/UI5, Web Dynpro, and OData services).</li><li>Strong experience in integration techniques using OData, REST, and SOAP.</li><li>Deep understanding of relevant security and compliance standards (e.g.:  OAuth2, JWT, XSUAA, role-based access, etc.).</li><li>Deep understanding of CDS view creation and data modeling.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and lead development efforts.</li><li>Proven ability to display excellent organizational and project management skills.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills.</li><li>Excellent communication skills (written &amp; verbal).</li></ul>Join our <a href="http://careers.dupont.com/us/en/jointalentcommunity" target="_blank">Talent Community</a> to stay connected with us!On May 22, 2024, we announced a plan to separate our Electronics and Water businesses in a tax-free manner to its shareholders.
