The business offers a broad high-performance elastomers and Specialty masterbatches solutions portfolio for all industries, with some focus on transportation, wire &amp; cable, films.Multibase is seeking a Key Account Manager for Specialty Masterbaches (SiMB) and plastics compounds based in the USA.Specialty Masterbatches encompass a wide range of silicone-based additives and masterbatches to enhance the properties and processability of popular thermoplastic resins.The Account Manager will have a focus on new Business Development to operate across US and Canada, targeting new and existing customers as well as partnering with key channel partners to drive growth.The successful candidate will sell both specialty and more standard thermoplastic products and thus possess both a strong technical aptitude and excellent commercial acumen.This role reports to the AMS Sales Director for the Adhesives and Fluids and Multibase business.Location: Flexible but Detroit, MI and Akron, OH preferred for team collaboration.Travel: Significant travel (amount TBD) in the region.    Role &amp; Responsibilities:•Develop and deliver a pipeline of new business in DuPont’s specialty Silicone additive masterbatch and TPE/TPO thermoplastic compound product lines•Collaborate with Marketing and Channel partners to identify prospective customers in strategic and tactical segments•Identify and engage constructively with key external decision makers and influencers•Manage and grow existing customers•Develop Account Plans to identify account-specific opportunity and gain cross-functional alignment on strategy and actionsProfile :• 5-10 years of demonstrated commercial &amp;/or business development success in polymer compounds and specialty additives• BS degree in business or engineering• Proven track record in getting results by exercising sales excellence &amp; best practices• Self-starter, independent achiever and highly motivated• Demonstrable ability to “open doors”, network effectively across levels and functions, develop relationships and identify customer needs• Solid commercial negotiation skills• Excellent communication &amp; presentation skills• Familiarity and proficiency in using CRM tools such as Salesforce#LI-TG1Join our <a href="http://careers.dupont.com/us/en/jointalentcommunity" target="_blank">Talent Community</a> to stay connected with us!DuPont is an equal opportunity employer.
