Technical Account Manager, Ingredient Solutions (ISOL), Cheese NA
US Based, Midwest Region (remote)
The Technical Account Manager, Ingredient Solutions (ISOL), Cheese NA will represent dsm-firmenich with core cheese accounts in the US Midwest Region. The ideal candidate will have a knowledge of the cheese industry, including technical aspect of cheese technology, cultures, and enzymes. They will manage a large portfolio of existing business with significant opportunity for business development within a highly enriching learning environment on seasoned, cohesive team with many career progression possibilities available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a thorough understanding of dsm-firmenich product range of ingredients for the Cheese industry from a commercial and technical point of view.
- Gain a strong understanding of the cheese market and technologies used by sub-segments of the industry.
- Support growth through commercial planning and strategy as well as technical support, training, and customer trials.
- Develop intimate understanding of customer needs and support customers success through introduction of optimal ingredients and application support.
- Contribute to the innovation process with industry insights and expertise.
- Take an active role in industry events including conferences, short courses, and product judging.

You Bring:
- A sense of ownership, delivering results that matter and contribute significantly to our success.
- A completed degree in Food Technology, Biological Sciences, or similar field.
- Strong technical skills and in-depth knowledge of cheese ingredient and production technology.
- Experience delivering technical presentations and/or trainings.
- Ability to travel >50%
- 5+ years technical sales or technical support experience and experience the Cheese Industry.
The salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant’s job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location.
