Bring your deep technical expertise and passion for dairy innovation to dsm-firmenich! As Senior Manager, Technical Services, Dairy, Ingredient Solutions, you’ll play a key role in delivering expert support in the application of cultures, enzymes, and other ingredients in cheese manufacturing. You’ll partner closely with customers, sales teams, and product development to ensure the successful application of our solutions, troubleshoot production challenges, and drive innovation. Acting as a critical bridge between R&D, commercial teams, and customers, you’ll help shape the future of cheese with tailored, market-driven solutions that make a real impact.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and R&D teams to identify customer needs, develop tailored solutions, and execute technical actions that support customer projects and product development.
• Deliver expert technical support by providing hands-on troubleshooting in cheese manufacturing, conducting on-site visits, and supporting the launch of new products through trials, training, and application guidance.
• Lead and support small and full-scale trials for validating new products or recipe changes, ensuring thorough documentation, technical reporting, and data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Train and educate stakeholders, including customers, internal teams, and distributors, on best practices, product usage, and emerging industry developments to ensure optimal application and knowledge transfer.
• Monitor industry trends and competitive activity to proactively identify opportunities for innovation and improvement, contributing insights that shape product strategy and technical positioning.
• Represent the organization as a subject matter expert by maintaining detailed records of technical activities, attending industry events and conferences, and sharing customer feedback to inform future product development.

 You Bring:

• Education Level: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Dairy Science, Food Science, Microbiology, or related field
• 5+ years’ experience in cheese production, dairy applications, or technical support role, and in-depth knowledge of cheese-making processes and ingredients
• Requires strong organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to travel >65%, domestic (US and Canada)
