This individual will play a critical role in supporting the operational infrastructure that underpins our commercial legal function. You will manage and optimize multiple legal systems, partner cross-functionally with internal teams, and serve as a key driver of efficiency and innovation across the legal organization.</span></p> <p><span>The ideal candidate brings deep experience in legal operations, is technically proficient in legal platforms like Ironclad and ServiceNow, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced tech environment. This role is highly visible and provides a unique opportunity to shape how Dropbox’s Legal team operates today and scales for tomorrow.</span></p> <h2><span>Responsibilities</span></h2> <p><span>Operational Strategy &amp; Execution</span></p> <ul> <li>Design and lead legal team workflows, policies, and processes to improve efficiency.</li> <li>Implement and manage legal technology tools (e.g., CLM, eBilling, matter management).</li> <li>Drive legal department KPIs, reporting, and dashboards to measure performance and value.</li> </ul> <p>Vendor Management</p> <ul> <li>Oversee outside counsel and legal vendor engagements, onboarding, and billing.</li> <li>Manage legal team’s tech stack and collaborate with IT as needed.</li> </ul> <p>Cross-Functional Collaboration</p> <ul> <li>Partner with IT, Finance, Procurement, Compliance, and other key teams on operational initiatives.</li> <li>Ensure smooth communication between Legal and business stakeholders.</li> </ul> <p>Knowledge Management</p> <ul> <li>Maintain centralized repositories for contracts, templates, policies, and legal knowledge.</li> </ul> <p>Project &amp; Change Management</p> <ul> <li>Lead or support legal projects from planning to execution, including process improvement and change adoption.</li> <li>Identify opportunities for automation and implement solutions to reduce manual workload.</li> </ul> <h2><span>Requirements</span></h2> <ul> <li><span>8</span><span><span>+ years </span></span><span>of experience in legal operations, strong </span><span>t</span><span>rack record for project management, or operations roles within a legal department or law firm.</span></li> <li><span>Tech industry experience and familiarity with commercial transactions strongly preferred.</span></li> <li><span>Background experience </span><span>with </span><span>legal systems and technologies</span><span> such as </span><span>Ironclad</span><span>, ServiceNow, and Brightflag</span><span> knowledge </span><span>are</span><span> a plus, but not required.</span></li> <li><span>S</span><span>trong track record </span><span>for </span><span>project management</span><span> and process optimization.</span></li> <li><span>Excellent communication, collaboration, interpersonal and organizational skills.</span></li> <li><span>Eagerness to learn new things and ability to navigate complicated and nuanced issues</span><span>.</span></li> <li><span>Familiarity with contracting and procurement processes, as well as with negotiating, drafting and advising clients on commercial contracts is a plus but not required</span><span>.</span></li> <li><span>BA/BS from a top university and excellent academic credentials</span><span>.</span></li> </ul> <h2>Preferred Qualifications</h2> <ul> <li> <p><span>Strong preference for this candidate to have previously worked in tech and virtual first — to understand the fast paced style of collaborating quickly, being agile, embracing change</span><span>, and knowing how to obtain urgent approvals and input.</span></p> </li> </ul> <h2><span>Compensation</span></h2><div><div><div><p><span>US Zone 1</span></p> <p><span>This role is not available in Zone 1</span></p></div><div>US Zone 2</div><div><span>$130,500</span><span>—</span><span>$176,500 USD</span></div></div><div><div>US Zone 3</div><div><span>$115,900</span><span>—</span><span>$156,900 USD</span></div></div></div>
