We are seeking a <strong>Senior Traffic Engineer</strong> to join our dynamic and collaborative Transportation Engineering team in <strong>Tampa</strong>!<br /><br />The <strong>Senior Traffic Engineer</strong> will lead the design and implementation of engineering transportation projects. will lead the design, analysis, and implementation of traffic engineering projects. This role emphasizes traffic operations, safety, and modeling for both public and private sector clients. The ideal candidate will have expertise in traffic impact studies, signal design, capacity analysis, and traffic forecasting. </div> <h2> Duties Include </h2> <div><strong>Traffic Engineering &amp; Technical Oversight</strong></div><ul><li>Lead the preparation and review of Traffic Impact Analyses, Traffic Operation and Safety Studies, Capacity and Safety Analyses, and Traffic Modeling.</li><li>Perform signal timing/retiming, signal warrant analyses, intersection analyses, roundabout analyses, and turn lane queue evaluations.</li><li>Conduct project traffic forecasting, travel demand modeling, and support DRI reviews and transportation planning studies.</li><li>Utilize modeling tools such as HCS, Synchro, and FSUTMS to develop and interpret traffic scenarios and solutions.</li><li>Oversee and contribute to the creation of technical reports, engineering documents, and support materials.</li><li>Ensure traffic design compliance with applicable regulations, guidelines, and safety standards.</li></ul><div><strong>Project Management </strong></div><ul><li>Manage multiple traffic engineering assignments concurrently, ensuring timely and budget-conscious project delivery.</li><li>Track project schedules, budgets, task assignments, and performance metrics.</li><li>Prepare proposals, cost estimates, scopes of work, and project schedules for new and ongoing traffic engineering engagements.</li><li>Assist in public meeting representation and technical presentations, when applicable.</li></ul> <h2> Compensation &amp; Benefits </h2> <ul><li>Dependent upon experience.</li><li>CPH offers Medical, Dental and Vision and Long-Term Disability with a quality insurance company.</li><li>Company Paid Life Insurance and Short-Term Disability.</li><li>401K, Paid Personal Time Off, Paid Holidays, and Paid Paternal Leave.</li></ul><div>CPH is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action/Drug Free Work Environment Employer.</div>
