Professional Surveyor and Mapper Survey/Geomatics

Duties Include:

• Foster and grow client relationships; develop and monitor project scope, budgeting, scheduling, and quality control for survey projects from proposal through final deliverables.
• Oversee survey activities to ensure assignments meet performance goals.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with project team members; provide detailed instructions to survey support personnel.
• Stay up to date on current surveying technology and relevant software.
• Perform calculations for field crews and mapping as needed.
• Compile and research project data prior to initiating work.
• Analyze deeds and research materials for accurate survey production.
• Ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget; escalate discrepancies to the supervisor if needed.
• Manage office personnel assigned to projects.
• Coordinate with the field crew supervisor on project needs and assist the field staff to ensure high-quality field data.
• Prioritize projects and scheduling for yourself and your support staff.
• Coordinate QA/QC reviews and scheduling.
• Monitor project progress and client satisfaction; ensure full scope of services is delivered.
• Review and approve assigned staff timesheets daily.
• Assist with preparing project estimates as needed.
