Our mission for the space is bold: make every DoorDash visitor aware of—and excited to shop—non-restaurant categories like groceries, alcohol, retail, and household essentials. To do this, we’re building a highly dynamic, personalized homepage that intelligently ranks and surfaces the most relevant items and stores, in real time, based on user context like weather, past orders, and current needs.</p> <h1><strong>About the Role:</strong></h1> <p>As a designer on this team, you’ll work at the intersection of personalization, content systems, and storytelling. You’ll help craft engaging formats like bundles, recipes, and item carousels that go beyond just utility. Your creativity will address real customer needs, turning everyday shopping into seamless, enjoyable moments that inspire lasting loyalty. You’ll collaborate with machine learning, growth, and brand teams to solve complex product challenges: from showing the right thing at the right time to scaling experiments across hundreds of use cases and customer journeys.</p> <p>This role combines systems thinking with creative direction for in-house merchandising. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.</p> <p>In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants.
