This team brings the magic to life!As a Senior Financial Analyst on the WDI Finance team, you will help support the ideation, design, production, and construction of projects within the WDI organization – specifically the Research &amp; Development (R&amp;D) team.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Develop and coordinate key financial processes (Annual Operating Plan, Long Range Plan, Monthly Forecasts) with the WDI R&amp;D team</li><li>Prepare budgets and perform financial sensitivity analyses where appropriate</li><li>Analyze actual financial results and/or prospective new business proposals</li><li>Build financial models and other tools to analyze key performance indicators and perform ad hoc analyses</li><li>Prepare comprehensive business reviews and updates to Executive-level audiences on a timely basis</li><li>Drive efficiencies through process improvements, including constant updates, revisions of financial models, templates, and planning processes.</li></ul>Basic Qualifications:<ul><li>2+ years of Financial Planning &amp; Analysis work experience</li><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Proficiency in MS applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint</li><li>Understanding of balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow drivers</li><li>Able to take directions and inputs from partners locally and remotely</li><li>Willingness to take on initiatives and learn new systems and applications</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Prior Walt Disney Company or R&amp;D finance experience preferred</li><li>Prior experience with SAP and Power BI or Tableau preferred</li></ul>Required Education:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent</li></ul>The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $103,400 to $126,200 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
