You will partner closely with Product and Engineering to create innovative and intuitive tooling solutions that support and streamline our internal operations. This specific role will work on our experimentation platform, a complex and highly technical product that empowers product managers, engineers, data analysts, data scientists, and other roles internal to Disney Streaming to make data informed decisions. You will:<ul><li>Lead product design for the Enterprise Design team, overseeing the work of at least 1-2 other designers</li><li>Define app and web experiences for enterprise products, taking ownership of large, complex projects and work with cross-functional leads to shape the product vision</li><li>Contribute to product strategy by leveraging user research, data, and insights, understanding business needs, and innovating within technical constraint</li><li>Drive the design process and user research strategy across your projects, shaping the long-term design direction for large-scale systems</li><li>Use data to guide your design decisions, ensuring that we are pursuing measurable, achievable, impactful outcomes</li><li>Communicate your ideas effectively and partner closely with cross functional partners and stakeholders to execute on design solutions</li><li>Mentor and provide design directions for senior, mid-level designers, and associate designers</li></ul>We are looking for candidates who:<ul><li>Have experience designing high quality solutions for enterprise workflows and are adept at managing complexity</li><li>Have worked on experimentation tooling, feature flag controls and deployment, data visualization</li><li>Showcase a strong understanding and application of user-centered design process and best practices and have a data-driven mindset</li><li>Are self-motivated, innately curious, and passionate about problem solving</li><li>Possess a high bar of craft and design excellence</li><li>Collaborate well with others, communicate effectively, and contribute positively to their setting and have strong communication skills</li><li>Have a growth mindset and display an aptitude for learning new technologies and design skills</li><li>Have a passion for evolving the design practice; its people, processes and tools</li><li>Possess the ability to help stakeholders &amp; partners uncover project goals, constraints &amp; dependencies; and then guide them to optimal solutions</li></ul>Required Qualifications &amp; Skills<ul><li>Minimum 7 years in Product Design at a technology company</li><li>Minimum 1 year(s) of experience leading other designers either as a project lead or people manager</li><li>A strong portfolio demonstrating both personal and team-based work</li><li>A deep arsenal of design tools (Figma, Sketch, InVision, Framer, Mural, Keynote)</li><li>Proficiency in user-centered design thinking methodologies</li><li>Excellent prioritization and documentation skills</li></ul>The hiring range for this position in New York is $145,400 to $195,000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
