As a Growth Insights Analyst at Hulu, you will support a wide range of primary research initiatives aimed at driving our business growth. This role will work closely with partners across Strategic Insights and the broader Hulu and Disney DTC organization to execute research that drives strategic decision-making — managing technical components like survey programming, sample preparation, and data analysis, as well as contributing to the strategic framing of the work. This person will also be a go-to resource for process management and improvement within the team, staying abreast of research and project management best practices and applying them to our workflows.  The right person for this role is someone highly organized and detail-oriented, who is passionate about bringing forward the consumer voice into all decision-making. WHAT YOU’LL DO<ul><li>Contribute throughout the end-to-end process of planning and executing qualitative and quantitative research studies (i.e. questionnaire development, programming, and testing surveys, analyzing results, and producing final reports), both as in-house DIY studies and with external research partners.</li><li>Own and manage the process of accessing and understanding our subscriber data to tap into it for research purposes, including engaging with CRM and Data Analytics</li><li>Assist with mining and compiling data from proprietary, syndicated, and custom research toolsets, identifying patterns, surfacing opportunities, and ensuring data accuracy and integrity</li><li>Support the research team through testing surveys, gathering results, providing analysis, and creating reports on a variety of studies, with an eye toward weaving clear, compelling narratives that translate insights into action</li><li>Coordinate with internal stakeholders, research team partners and external vendors to translate key business questions and needs into project requirements.</li><li>Provide insight on best practices in project and research management and methodologies, including introducing team to new vendors and capabilities</li><li>Manage engagement with the team’s research community, facilitating ongoing research execution, coordinating with supplier, and ensuring member engagement and overall community health </li></ul>WHAT TO BRING<ul><li>Passion for understanding consumer needs and attitudes and translating them into business strategies, particularly in the technology, media and/or entertainment sectors.</li><li>2+ years of custom research project experience or analytics experience</li><li>Experience with executing in all phases of research projects, including managing timelines, questionnaire design, data collection and analysis, reporting and presentations.</li><li>Familiarity with a variety of market research methodologies and their applications</li><li>Strong detail-orientation, particularly when working with large datasets and research reports; brings a keen focus on quality</li><li>Highly organized in project management, with proven ability to handle multiple projects at a given time</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills</li><li>Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel and experience with survey programming tools like Qualtrics or SurveyGizmo/Alchemer</li><li>Familiarity with mining, cleaning, and manipulating large datasets leveraging R, SQL, Python or other programming languages</li><li>Collaborative partner and teammate who can build good rapport, communicate effectively, and influence others when needed</li><li>Ability to synthesize data into a cohesive, persuasive story that resonates with stakeholders and drives strategic action.</li></ul>NICE-TO-HAVES<ul><li>Experience working on entertainment or technology consumer research</li></ul>Just like the best ensemble casts of our favorite shows, Hulu embraces diversity and is an inclusive environment. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
