Helps identify, manage and escalate risk and client complaints or issues. Performs market analyses and business development activities to drive profitable sales volume and revenue. May have responsibility for a specific geographic territory Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management. How Youll Do It<ul><li>Manage clients to retain and grow existing partners in the issuing space by exploring growth opportunities.</li><li>Drive implementation and supports process/operational including; development of communications, account management, approval requests and contract negotiations to ensure compliance and risk management practices are followed.</li><li>Work with manager to develop territory/prospect plan, engage processor partners to develop prospect and lead generation.</li><li>Support onboarding of Relationship Manager when appropriate to ensure positive partner experience. Supports exploration of new partnership opportunities that drive new business growth and value.</li><li>Work closely with Compliance, Legal and Due Diligence teams to provide support to team members in the development of proposals and client contract renewals. Informally, provides peer coaching and guidance to team members.</li></ul> Qualifications Youll Need The Basics<ul><li>Bachelors Marketing, Finance, Marketing or related</li><li>6+ years Payments industry Sales/business development experience, relationship management, strategy, operations, project management, planning, finance, consultative skills with proven experience building deep and influential relationships with key stake holders, executive level clients and internal business partners Business development, sales and /or sales management, International and Payment Scheme, Card Acquiring, PSP, or Related</li><li>6+ years Technical expertise (i.e.; mobile payments, vehicle commerce, SRC, payment chip technology, IOT emerging technologies) to support digital partners</li><li>in lieu of education, 8+ years Payments industry Sales/business development experience, relationship management, strategy, operations, project management, planning, finance, consultative skills with proven experience building deep and influential relationships with key stake holders, executive level clients and internal business partners</li></ul> Physical and Cognitive Requirements The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
