As DigitalOcean continues its rapid growth and moves upmarket, the demands on identity, access, authorization, and account management have significantly increased. This team will focus on operational enablement for the business and our customers.</p> <h2><strong>The Opportunity</strong></h2> <p>We are seeking highly motivated and skilled engineers in Hyderabad. You will play a critical role to ensure product experiences at all stages of the developers journeys enable a DO-simple method to scale their business. You will join a team providing smooth operation of the IAM platform, providing technical support, managing IAM operations, and driving efficiency through automation. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of building a new team and making a significant impact on our companys growth.</p> <h2><strong>What You’ll Be Doing:</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Develop IAM gRPC APIs written in Go Lang to deliver solutions to target customer’s Jobs To Be Done (JTBD).</li> <li>Collaborate with the team to define OKRs, driven by our product strategy, and develop roadmap items to successfully deliver on Key Results. </li> <li>Contribute to authoring of technical documents to deliver on feature development.</li> <li>Triage and resolve escalated IAM support tickets. Serve as the first line of support for incoming bug reports.</li> <li>Take ownership of IAM platform operations, including authentication, authorization, user accounts, security history, ssh keys, projects, tags, and user notifications.</li> <li>Maintain and contribute to operational excellence and the stability of the platform.</li> <li>Contribute to quality assurance tooling and synthetic testing to proactively identify and address potential customer impacting issues.</li> <li>Collaborate with product teams on existing and new product launches to enable seamless integrations of IAM services.</li> <li>Contribute to the documentation of IAM processes, and customer instructions.</li> </ul> <h2><strong>What We’ll Expect From You:</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Proficiency in Go to develop gRPC and REST APIs.</li> <li>Hands-on knowledge of microservices and distributed systems, including technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, MySQL, and Redis.</li> <li>Experience with Identity and Access Management systems (e.g., authentication, authorization, user accounts).</li> <li>Strong interest in direct collaboration with customers to define their key Jobs To Be Done, and translate into features.</li> <li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills in written and spoken forms.</li> <li>Author technical documents in architecture and task definition.</li> <li>Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.</li> <li>A proactive and detail-oriented approach.</li> <li>[Optional: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.]</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Why You’ll Like Working for DigitalOcean:</strong></h2> <ul> <li>We reward our employees.
