This individual will play a critical role in <b>financial planning, forecasting, business partnering</b>, and leading the <b>end-to-end annual sales commission process</b>. The ideal candidate will bring a strong analytical mindset, deep business acumen, and excellent communication skills to drive financial visibility and operational excellence across global teams.</div><div><br /></div><div><b><i>Please note that we are a hybrid environment and require an in-office presence of 3 days/week at our Austin, TX HQ.</i></b></div><h3>About the Lead Financial Planning and Analyst (FP&amp;A) </h3><ul><li><b>Sales Commission Management:</b></li><li>Own the quarterly and annual sales commission planning process including design, modeling, budgeting, and alignment with Sales leadership.</li><li>Partner with HR and Business Ops to ensure alignment between commission plans, territories, and business goals.</li><li>Provide quarterly accruals, actuals analysis, and reporting to Finance and Sales leadership.</li><li>Ensure timely and accurate commission payouts by working closely with Payroll and ensuring strong internal controls.</li><li><b>Business Unit Support – Sales &amp; Marketing:</b></li><li>Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Operations leaders to develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and long-range planning models (OpEx focus).</li><li>Conduct monthly variance analysis, deliver insights into business performance, and recommend actionable strategies to improve results.</li><li>Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), marketing ROI, sales productivity, and customer acquisition metrics.</li><li>Support strategic initiatives, pricing decisions, and market expansion planning with financial modeling and scenario analysis.</li><li><b>Reporting &amp; Systems:</b></li><li>Develop and enhance financial dashboards and management reporting tools using Excel, Tableau, Commission software or similar platforms.</li><li>Maintain and improve FP&amp;A tools and templates to increase efficiency, accuracy, and transparency in planning and reporting processes.</li><li>Support system implementations or enhancements related to planning, budgeting, and commissions (e.g., Oracle, Adaptive Insights).</li></ul><h3>About you as the About the Lead Financial Planning and Analyst (FP&amp;A) </h3><ul><li>5 years of progressive FP&amp;A experience, ideally in a global or multi-business unit environment.</li><li>Self-starter with strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, with minimal requirement of oversight.</li><li>Experience supporting Sales and/or Marketing functions; understanding of SaaS or subscription business models is a plus.</li><li>Strong experience with commission planning and administration (e.g. SPIFF, Performio).</li><li>Demonstrated ability to influence non-financial stakeholders with data-driven insights.</li><li>Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools.</li><li>Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle) and planning tools (e.g., Adaptive Insights, Smart View).</li><li>Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and business partnering skills.</li><li>Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA a plus.</li></ul><h3>Preferred Skills of the Lead Financial Planning and Analyst (FP&amp;A) </h3><ul><li>Strong understanding of global business practices and cross-functional collaboration.</li><li>Prior experience in a technology, SaaS, or high-growth company environment.</li></ul><div><b>About Digital Turbine:</b></div><div><br /></div><div>Digital Turbine (NASDAQ: APPS) powers superior mobile consumer experiences and results for the world’s leading telcos, advertisers and publishers.
