You can see more about our culture and our tech </span><a href="https://www.digitalturbine.com/collection/engineering/">here</a><span> </span></div><div><br /></div><div>This is a hybrid onsite in Berlin, remote work is not an option. </div><h3>About the C++ Software Engineer:  </h3><ul><li>Collaborate with our team to design and implement scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems that power our core products.</li><li>Build and optimize backend services with a focus on low latency, concurrency, and high availability.</li><li>Design and maintain robust data pipelines that extract, transform, and load data to support business insights and strategic decision-making.</li><li>Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented C++ code, and participate in code reviews to ensure technical excellence.</li><li>Research and evaluate new technologies, ensuring that our solutions remain reliable, performant, and future-proof.</li><li>Contribute to our engineering culture by sharing knowledge, mentoring peers, and promoting best practices in distributed systems development.</li></ul><h3>About you as the C++ Software Engineer:</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).</li><li>5+ years of professional C++ development experience, with strong knowledge of modern C++ (STL, Boost).</li><li>Solid foundation in object-oriented design, design patterns, algorithms, and complexity analysis.</li><li>Experience working with distributed systems or large-scale backend architectures (or strong interest and ability to learn quickly).</li><li>Comfortable writing high-quality code in C++ and open to learning additional languages such as Scala or Python.</li><li>Understanding of scalability, fault tolerance, and concurrency challenges in distributed environments.</li><li>Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., MySQL) — experience with data modeling and query optimization is a plus.</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.</li></ul><div><b>What we do:</b></div><div><span>Digital Turbine is a leading mobile advertising technology company.
